METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR UTILIZING A BYPASS HUMIDIFIER FOR DEHUMIDIFICATION DURING COOLING
An HVAC system includes an indoor heat-exchange coil disposed between a supply air duct and a return air duct. A damper is disposed in a re-circulation duct and is moveable between an open position and a closed position. A controller is configured to determine if the HVAC system is operating in a heating mode or an air-conditioning mode. Responsive to a determination that the HVAC system is operating in the air-conditioning mode, the controller is configured to determine if the variable-speed indoor circulation fan is operating at a minimum speed and if the relative humidity measured by the humidity sensor is above a pre-determined threshold. Responsive to a determination that the variable-speed indoor circulation fan is operating at the minimum speed and the relative humidity of the enclosed space is above the pre-determined threshold, the controller signals the damper to move to the open position.

Humidifier and air conditioner
The present invention provides a humidifier capable of preventing water generated by dew condensation of vapor from being combined with air, so that an air humidity can be stably controlled. A humidifier according to the present invention includes a storage tank that stores water, the storage tank being opened upward, a heater that heats the water in the storage tank, and a guide plate that is disposed above the storage tank, on at least one of one side and the other side in a first direction extending along a horizontal direction with respect to a center of the storage tank. The guide plate extends in an inclined manner such that an upper part thereof is positioned closer to the center of the storage tank in the first direction than a lower part thereof.

Cartridge for an aerosol-generating system
A cartridge for use in an aerosol-generating system is provided, including a liquid storage portion including a housing configured to hold a liquid aerosol-forming substrate, the liquid storage portion including at least two parts in fluid communication with each other; a first part of the liquid storage portion including a heater assembly, a first capillary material, provided in contact with the heater assembly, and a second capillary material in contact with the first capillary material and spaced apart from the heater assembly by the first capillary material; and a second part of the liquid storage portion including a container configured to hold the liquid aerosol-forming substrate in liquid form to supply the liquid to the second capillary material.
Evaporative cooling device and control system
An evaporative cooling device may be provided. The device may comprise a plurality of rollers, a screen looped around the plurality of rollers, a motor coupled to at least one roller and configured to drive the at least one roller, a basin configured to hold a liquid within an interior of the basin, and wherein at least one roller is at least partially within the interior of the basin. The screen may travel into the basin and capture an amount of the liquid. As the liquid is drawn into an airstream feeding a heat rejection device, the liquid may evaporate, cooling the air. The cooled air may provide a more efficient heat rejection device.
