Exhaust demand control system and methods
Methods and apparatus for an exhaust demand control system for measuring one or more contaminants at one or more exhaust locations within one or a plurality of exhaust ducts or plenums served by an exhaust fan system. Example systems and methods can include sensing the one or more contaminants within the one or more exhaust duct locations using a multipoint air sampling system having one or more sensors and comparing contaminant concentration measurements from the one or more of said exhaust duct or plenum locations against an action level to create a fan setback signal.
Work hood
The present invention provides a work hood that allows for free rotation in a work box to provide a wide work area and easy decontamination of a sealing portion present at the boundary between the work hood and the work box. A rotation support for rotatably supporting the entire half suit is provided. The rotation support includes a base portion, a rotating portion, a bearing portion, a sealing member, and a communication hole. The base portion is airtightly and annularly provided around an opening, and the rotating portion is provided around the base portion through the bearing portion, with a hem portion of the half suit being fixed to the rotating portion. The sealing member is annularly provided in an annular space formed by the base portion and the rotating portion so as to separate the work box and the external environment. The communication hole is provided so as to lead to the external environmental side from the annular small space side formed by the sealing member together with the base portion, the rotating portion, and the bearing portion, and is connected to a supply means for supplying a decontamination gas and the like to the inside of the small space and to a suction means for sucking clean air and the like from the inside of the small space.

Air duct device and air handling apparatus
An air duct device and an air handling apparatus are provided. The air duct device can include a housing, a first air duct, and a second air duct. The first air duct is arranged in the housing and has an air input end and an air output end. The second air duct is arranged in the housing and has an air input end and an air output end. The air input end of the second air duct passes by the air output end of the first air duct.
Fresh air distribution system for packaged terminal air conditioner
A fresh air distribution system designed for PTAC use, the system comprising a first upwardly directed air distribution duct configured to receive a stream of pressurized fresh air discharged from a fresh air blower apparatus and to redirect the stream into a transversely extending second air distribution duct communicating with the first air distribution duct, the second air distribution duct comprising a plurality of laterally spaced baffles angularly disposed inside the duct that divide and redirect the stream into an inside plenum of the PTAC to be combined with recirculated in-room air.
Ventilation system and method
A sound proof space, a ventilation system, and a method of ventilating a soundproof space, the ventilation system including at least one fan positioned at least one air inlet aperture or at least one air outlet aperture for sucking air therethrough and providing an air flow; at least one ventilation aperture for guiding air into the space to be ventilated; at least a first and a seconder air channel. The first and the second air channel are formed respectively into a single layer of a sandwich-type wall, roof or floor structure of the space to be ventilated; and the first and the second air channel are joined at one end thereof to form an indirect air path from the air inlet aperture to the ventilation aperture.

AN ISOLATION CHAMBER
An isolation chamber includes a plurality of walls and ceiling defining an internal chamber and a first and second door. The doors seal engagement with the walls. A fan filter unit is arranged to extract air from the internal chamber. The isolation chamber is arranged to couple to a doorway, and the coupling arranged to provide an airtight seal about the doorway.

Air circulation systems and methods
Systems and methods for air flow circulation are described which utilize one or more air conditioning units as well as transfer grilles to move cooler air from one space to another. The transfer grilles can include bi-directional in-line fans to move air between spaces in discrete ducts located between the spaces. Motorized dampers can be controlled by a controller that receives information about various rooms and areas from temperature and occupancy sensors within those rooms or areas. In this manner, conditioned air can be directed to those rooms that are occupied and whose temperature needs correction based on a thermostat setting, and use of the air conditioning unit can be avoided when a cool air source is present in another space.
