Duct type air conditioning device and method for assembling and disassembling the same
A duct type air conditioning apparatus is provided with a blowing portion including a first cabinet in which a blower assembly is installed and a heat exchanging portion including a second cabinet in which a heat exchanger is installed. The air conditioning apparatus includes a partition panel arranged between the first and second cabinets and connected to facing sides of the first and second cabinet, and first and second link members separably fastened along an upper end and a lower end of the partition panel to keep an airtight seal in a connection portion between the first and second cabinets.
Duct Replacement Device and Method of Use
A duct replacement device and method of use provides a duct sleeve flex connector, in three different versions, each with a flat, rigid metal bar with thin, metal bracing strips and a female-treaded pole hinge. After cutting loose the old duct from under the register box, an HVAC technician enters the attic and threads the device on a telescoping pole, depositing the device near the open register box. The technician then climbs a ladder under the register box, grabs and adjusts the device with the flat, rigid metal bar into position, then attaches it with the thin, metal bracing strips.
Curb assembly for HVAC system
A curb assembly for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a frame configured to couple to a curb of a structure, a pedestal system configured to couple to a housing of the HVAC system and to the frame, such that the pedestal system extends from the housing to the frame, and an adjustable duct connector configured to fluidly couple an air flow passage of the housing with ductwork of the structure. The pedestal system is configured to enclose a space formed between the frame and the housing and the adjustable duct connector configured to be disposed within the space.
ADJUSTABLE PORT FOR RECOVERY VENTILATOR
A ventilator includes a housing having at least one opening formed therein. The housing has a plurality of sides including a first side and a second side and a modular duct connector having a through hole for connection with a duct. The modular duct connector is connectable to the at least one opening of the housing in at least a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the through hole is arranged at the first side of the housing and in the second configuration, the through hole is arranged at the second side of the housing.
Roller member for use in an apparatus for closing Pittsburgh Seams associated with duct assemblies and other box-shaped members
A vertical Pittsburgh Seam closing apparatus having a base supporting surface, a track mechanism for moving a carriage assembly which holds seam forming members used to close a Pittsburgh Seam, a pair of upper and lower guide members for guiding the duct section into a proper vertical position, and upper and lower clamping members positioned inside the duct section and adjacent the inside portion of the Pittsburgh Seam to be closed, the upper guide members and clamping member being selectively movable and adjustable for accommodating different duct section lengths. In one embodiment, the seam forming assembly includes three roller members mounted in vertical arrangement to each other, one roller member being V-shaped in configuration and the other two roller members being substantially cylindrical in shape. The V-shaped roller member may also include one or more projecting members for forming dimples in the closing process to prevent shifting and/or slipping of the closed seam.
CONNECTION ELEMENT FOR CONNECTING WITH RECTANGULAR DUCTING COMPONENTS
Disclosed is a connection element for connecting one or more rectangular ducting components, a rectangular ducting system including the connection element and a heating, ventilating or air conditioning (HVAC) system including the rectangular ducting system.
HVAC duct connection system and flange
An HVAC duct section connection system is provided with first and second corner flanges, and at least one self-threading bolt. Both the first corner flange and the second corner flange include first and second legs. The first and second legs having an interior surface and an exterior surface. The exterior surface is disposed opposite the interior surface. The first and second corner flanges each have at least one fastener aperture extending between the interior and the exterior surfaces, the fastener aperture including an integrally formed truncated cone extending out from the exterior surface, wherein the truncated cone has an inner diameter. The self-threading bolt has a shank and a head, the shank having a threaded section with a thread diameter sized to engage the inner diameter of the truncated cone.
SUPPORT MEMBER FOR AIR PIPES OF PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONERS
A support member for air-carrying pipes of portable air conditioners which can be applied to windows (W), comprises a first module provided with a slit made to accommodate the air pipe and at least one second module made to be coaxially sliding on the first module. The second module is continuously mobile with respect to said first module to make the length of the support member modifiable.
ONE PIPE OR TWO PIPE FLUE GAS AND COMBUSTION AIR SYSTEM
The invention non-direct vent (one pipe) or direct vent (two pipe) fuel fired appliance vent terminations spaced apart to accommodate the inward flow of combustion air and/or the outwardly flow of exhaust flue gas of a fuel fired appliance. The vent termination ends are capable of engaging the terminal ends of a variety of different size exhaust conduits including fitting sockets of a conduit fitting. The vent pipe termination can include in some aspects a vent pipe termination kit which may include, but not limited to; a vent termination main embodiment, mounting plate, screws, connector elements, threaded nuts, connector element cover, protection shield, intake screen, 90 degree elbows, sloped vent fitting, T fittings, wall anchors, decals or labels, escutcheon covers, insulating materials, caulking or other similar components.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORMING A FULL ENGAGEMENT MALE LOCK IN A DUCTLINE
The present invention provides a method for producing a full engagement Pittsburgh male lock using specific cutting assemblies and protocols that reduce the amount of metal that is removed from the male portion of the corner notches in the duct. Forming of the male portion of the lock is done after the connecting flange forming has been completed as opposed to before the connecting flange forming has been completed.
