The duct flange profile is directed to small part duct fittings with section widths up to about 16 inches in 20 to 26 gauge metal. The apparatus includes a bending head assembly having a drive roller, a pressure roller, an anvil and a bending leaf and a roll form assembly.

The base feature is integrated into the base unit, and the fan housing feature integrated into the fan unit; both are capable of detachably connecting together to secure the fan unit to the base unit.

The air flow amplifier includes a ring having an annular cavity and an air flow inlet formed in the ring. The air flow inlet is configured to direct an air flow into the annular cavity. The air flow amplifier also includes a first annular air flow outlet formed in the ring and configured to direct a first portion of the air flow out of the annular cavity and along an inner diameter of the ring. The air flow amplifier further includes a second annular air flow outlet formed in the ring and configured to direct a second portion of the air flow out of the annular cavity and along the inner diameter of the ring.

The connector assembly is coupled to the first conduit and the second conduit for controlling a flow of air. The connector assembly includes a connector, a connector ring, and an orifice plate. The connector includes at least one wall including a ridge defining a receptacle and a connector slot defined within the ridge. The connector ring is attached to the connector and defines a connector ring slot and a covering portion. The connector ring slot aligns with the connector slot and the orifice plate is inserted into through the connector ring slot and the connector slot into the receptacle during installation of the orifice plate. The covering portion covers the connector slot and retains the orifice plate within the receptacle during operation of the environmental control system.

A duct replacement device and method of use provides a duct sleeve flex connector, in three different versions, each with a flat, rigid metal bar with thin, metal bracing strips and a female-treaded pole hinge. After cutting loose the old duct from under the register box, an HVAC technician enters the attic and threads the device on a telescoping pole, depositing the device near the open register box. The technician then climbs a ladder under the register box, grabs and adjusts the device with the flat, rigid metal bar into position, then attaches it with the thin, metal bracing strips.
