An air cleaner includes a fan that is configured to suck air in an axial direction and discharge air between the axial direction and a radial direction. The air cleaner further includes a fan motor that is configured to rotate the fan. The air cleaner further includes an air guide unit that includes a cylindrical outer wall and an inner wall that is located in a center portion of the outer wall and that defines a space that is configured to receive the fan motor. The air guide unit defines an annular air flow path that is configured to receive air discharged by the fan and that is defined by an inner circumferential surface of the outer wall and an outer circumferential surface of the inner wall. The air guide unit further includes a plurality of guide ribs. The air guide unit further includes a plurality of flow guide protrusions.

The presently disclosed subject matter is directed to a vent register for use with an HVAC system. The register is defined by a housing comprising top and bottom plates that are permanently joined to create an interior compartment. The interior compartment imparts an insulative quality to the register by providing resistance to an increase or decrease in temperature, such as when cooled air is flowing through the system. The interior compartment can be hollow and filled with air, foam, or any insulative material. In use, the register prevents or reduces the incidence of condensation forming on the face of the register during use.

A humidification module and an air purifier are disclosed. The humidification module includes a module housing and a breathable water absorption part. The module housing is internally provided with a humidifying air duct; the module housing is provided with an air inlet and an air outlet that communicate with the humidifying air duct. The water absorption part is arranged in the humidifying air duct and is configured to humidify air flowing through the humidifying air duct.

A humidification module and an air purifier are disclosed. The humidification module includes a module housing and a breathable water absorption part. The module housing is internally provided with a humidifying air duct; the module housing is provided with an air inlet and an air outlet that communicate with the humidifying air duct. A germicidal duct assembly that includes an inlet assembly, an irradiation chamber, and an outlet assembly is presented herein. The inlet assembly includes an inlet duct connected at one end to the irradiation chamber and at the other end to a vent. A fan is used to draw air into the inlet assembly and to the irradiation chamber. The outlet assembly includes an outlet duct connected at one end to the irradiation chamber and at the other end to a vent. A fan is used to facilitate the flow of air from the irradiation chamber through the outlet duct. The irradiation chamber includes at least one elongated ultraviolet light source disposed in an oblique manner relative to a longitudinal axis of said irradiation chamber in order to increase the exposure time of the air as it travels through the inlet ducts to irradiation chamber and out of the outlet ducts.

A germicidal duct assembly that includes an inlet assembly, an irradiation chamber, and an outlet assembly is presented herein. The inlet assembly includes an inlet duct connected at one end to the irradiation chamber and at the other end to a vent. There is provided a door mechanism comprising a door and a door closure mechanism for moving the door between a first, open, position and second, closed position. The door closure mechanism comprises a drive motor coupled to a drive screw, the drive screw having a first, right handed thread portion and a second, left handed thread portion, a first drive nut threadedly engaged with the first thread portion, a second drive nut threadedly engaged with the second thread portion, a first drive linkage pivotally coupled to the first drive nut at one end and to the door at a second, opposed end, and a second drive linkage pivotally coupled to the second drive nut at one end and to the door at a second, opposed end.
