CEILING MOUNTED EVAPORATOR BLOWER

An air cooling system includes a chassis dimensioned to fit between a pair of joists, an evaporator positioned in the chassis and configured to cool air flowing through the chassis, and a diffuser assembly. The diffuser assembly includes one or more positioning guides that toollessly couple the diffuser assembly to the chassis. The diffuser assembly is structured to enable passage of the cool air from the chassis though the diffuser assembly and to a diffuser outlet, and to inhibit formation of condensation caused by the cool air exiting the outlet.

Temperature and Relative Humidity Controller

Control systems are provided that provide thermodynamically decoupled control of temperature and relative humidity and/or reduce or prevent frost formation or remove previously-formed frost. The control systems herein may be included as a component of a heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration system that includes a heat exchanger.

Methods, systems, and devices for humidifying

Methods, systems, and devices for humidifying are described herein. One method includes determining a temperature in a space associated with a humidifying unit, determining a relative humidity in the space, determining an air speed associated with the humidifying unit, and adjusting an amount of water sprayed by the humidifying unit based, at least in part, on the temperature, the relative humidity, and the air speed.

An air conditioning indoor unit includes a body, a panel, and a horizontal flap. The body is provided with an air outlet. The panel is positioned to cover the front of the body. The horizontal flap is able to vary the air direction of conditioned air blown out from the air outlet. A recess recessed toward the back side of the air conditioning indoor unit is disposed between an upper edge of an open peripheral edge of the air outlet and a lower end of the panel. During non-operation, the recess and the air outlet are covered by the horizontal flap.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DRYING ROOFS

Roof drying processes and associated systems. A representative process includes drawing moisture-laden air from within the internal structure of a roof via a vacuum blower, a extraction insert and an extraction manifold, and removing moisture from the moisture-laden air via a dehumidifier. The dry air can be directed back into the roof through an injection insert and an injection manifold.

Heat exchanger for removal of condensate from a steam dispersion system

A steam dispersion apparatus includes a steam chamber communicating in an open-loop arrangement with a first steam source for supplying steam to the steam chamber. The steam chamber includes a steam dispersion location at which steam exits therefrom at generally atmospheric pressure. A heat exchanger communicates in a closed-loop arrangement with a second steam source for supplying steam to the heat exchanger at a pressure generally higher than atmospheric pressure. The heat exchanger is located at a location that is not directly exposed to the air to be humidified, the heat exchanger being in fluid communication with the steam chamber so as to contact condensate from the steam chamber. The heat exchanger converts condensate formed by the steam chamber back to steam when the condensate contacts the heat exchanger.

Thermally broken panel assembly for an air handler cabinet

A thermally broken panel assembly includes a first panel member, a second panel member, a first insulating member, and a second insulating member. The first panel member includes a first base member, a first wall extending outwardly from an outer edge of the first base member, and a first flange extending inwardly from an upper end of the first wall. The first insulating member is disposed between the first wall of the first panel member and a third wall of the second panel member. The second insulating member is disposed between the first base member of the first panel member and a second base member of the second panel member. A gap is disposed between an inner edge of the first flange of the first panel member and a second wall of the second panel member in an extension direction of the first flange.

TOTAL HEAT EXCHANGE DEVICE AND CONTROLLING METHOD OF THE SAME

A total heat exchange device is disclosed, which includes: a fan directing air from an indoor exhaust port to an outdoor discharge port through an exhaust air path; a fan directing air from an outdoor suction port to an indoor intake port through an intake air path; and a heat exchange element for exchanging heat between the air passing through the exhaust air path and the air passing through the intake air path. The total heat exchange device further includes a temperature detection section for detecting an outdoor temperature and a control section configured to perform a heat exchange mode in which heat is exchanged between the air passing through the exhaust air path and the air passing through the intake air path or a defrosting mode in which frost on the heat exchange element is thawed, in accordance with the outdoor temperature detected by the temperature detection section.
