HOT WATER STORAGE BOILER HAVING SCALE PREVENTION FUNCTION
20190162444 · 2019-05-30 ·

The present invention relates to a hot water storage boiler having a scale prevention function, the boiler being able to prevent scale without an additive or an ultrasonic device. Low-temperature water is sprayed toward the bottom portion of the combustion chamber using the spray pipe. This consequently lowers the temperature of the bottom portion of the combustion chamber, thereby reducing production of scale.

TOOL AND METHOD FOR CLEANING AND DRAINING A WATER HEATER
20240200829 · 2024-06-20 ·

A tool and method clean and drain a water heater tank, removing water and sediment from the tank. An insert tube fits through the hot water outlet port to reach the bottom of the tank interior. A fitting connects the insert tube to a hose extending down the outside of the tank to the floor/ground to a drain or container that is lower than the bottom of the tank interior. After priming the tool by using the cold water inlet flow to fill the tool with water and sediment, the cold water inlet is disconnected from the water heater, venting the tank so that water and sediment are siphoned out of the tank through the tool to empty the tank. The tool and method work without unplugging or disconnecting a clogged water heater drain line, without using a compressor or pump, and without creating a wet, messy environment.

Siphon adapted for cleaning vessels

A siphon is adapted for thoroughly cleaning fluid vessels. The siphon is capable of elevating discharge waste fluid through a transfer of kinetic energy provided by a pressurized fluid source, thereby obviating any need for undesirable electrical, chemical, or other mechanical power sources. An inlet couples pressurized fluid to a divider that splits the pressurized fluid between a jet port outlet and a tank flush source conduit. A siphon return conduit is operative to carry waste fluid from the fluid vessel, with the cleaning attachment protruding from the siphon return conduit. By slightly protruding, the cleaning attachment operatively blocks the siphon return conduit from being held by siphon vacuum against a surface of the fluid vessel while developing a beneficial eddy current flow path. A drain conduit is provided, as is a mixing chamber at a junction between the jet port outlet and an outlet from the siphon return conduit.

Water heating apparatus and system having a scale detecting function

A control unit includes a scale detection unit for detecting, while the a burner provides combustion, occurrence of clogging with scale in a tube of a heat exchanger, and an output unit for outputting a result of a detection by the scale detection unit, a storage stores information including a numerical value representing how many times a surface temperature of the heat exchanger measured by a temperature measuring unit exceeds at least one of a plurality of threshold values. While the burner provides combustion when the surface temperature measured by the temperature measuring unit exceeds at least one of the plurality of threshold values the scale detection unit adds a predetermined value to the numerical value in the storage and when the numerical value attains a defined value or more the scale detection unit detects occurrence of clogging with scale.

Water heating apparatus and water heating system

A water heating apparatus includes: a water heating circuit; a heater for heating the water heating circuit; and a controller for controlling the water heating apparatus. The water heating circuit includes a heat exchanger for heating a fluid including water and hot water, and a pipe for supplying the fluid via the heat exchanger. The controller is configured to drive the heater in a cleaning mode in which a cleaning liquid for cleaning an inside of the heat exchanger is supplied to the heat exchanger through the pipe.

INSTANTANEOUS HOT WATER CIRCULATION UNIT WITH SCALE CLEANING FUNCTION

Provided is an instantaneous hot water circulation unit with a scale cleaning function which can easily perform pipe cleaning for removing scale. The instantaneous hot water circulation unit which includes a hot water supply inlet portion connected to a hot water discharge unit of a hot water supply device, a hot water supply outlet portion connected to an external hot water supply unit, a hot water returning unit, a hot water outgoing unit, a hot water supply pipe, a hot water pipe, and a circulation pump, and a bypass pipe, which drives the circulation pump to perform an instantaneous hot water circulation operation when stoping hot water supply, wherein a storage tank configured to store a cleaning agent used in a cleaning operation of cleaning an inside of the pipe of the hot water supply device is provided at the bypass pipe.
