Attachment structure of photovoltaic cell module
In an attachment structure for attaching a photovoltaic cell module having flexibility to an installation surface or an attachment member, a back surface of the photovoltaic cell module is attached to the installation surface or the attachment member by being adhered by an adhesive material.
Methods for forming solar panels
A method for forming a solar panel can include attaching one or more tacking pads to one or both of a first surface of a first solar panel subassembly and a second surface of a second solar panel subassembly. The method further includes dispensing an adhesive onto at least one of the first and second surfaces. The first and second surfaces are placed in contact with the one or more tacking pads, thereby tacking the first and second solar panel subassemblies together, during which the first and second surfaces contact the adhesive, thereby decreasing a thickness and increasing a surface area of the adhesive. Subsequently, the adhesive is cured. The tacking pad(s) maintain fixed alignment of the solar panel subassemblies during curing of the adhesive, and establish a bond line of the adhesive.
Solar thermal collector
There is provided a cladding member (13) formed of a supporting body portion (67) having mounts (54) and a head portion (12), and an absorber surface portion (70) having a peripheral boundary wall (71) defining a recess into which a solar cell array (removed in this view for clarity) is bonded. The supporting (67) and absorber surface (70) body portions are pressure moulded from polyvinyl ester/glassfibre (30%)/fire retardant (40%)/pigment sheet moulding compound. Complementary bonding portions (72) form a glue line in assembly and have complementary water passages (73) defined therebetween. The bonding portions (72) contrive a generally sinusoidal glue space (74) that is longer that the transverse sectional dimension of the boding portions (72), cooperating with the adhesive system to resist water pressure in the passages (73).
Solar module comprising a stone frame
The invention relates to a new way of stabilizing and mounting solar panels in the form of conventional heat exchangers comprising a trough and a glass cover or of a photovoltaic panel on house walls with the aid of frames made of natural or artificial stones which are made break-resistant using fiber materials and are stabilized in such a way that the panels are also break-resistant on impact and can be mounted as self-supporting structures on a wall; furthermore, the panels in particular satisfy high standards in respect of esthetics and are low-maintenance and thus permanently appealing. Multiple solar panels comprising stone frames can form entire stone-solar panel facades.
Apparatus and methods for a noninvasive roof attachment system with vertical members
A non-slip roof attachment system for attaching structures to residential and commercial roofs without the use of penetrations to roofing shingles and sealing layers is described. The non-slip attachment system may be used to attach roof mounted systems such as solar panels. The non-slip attachment system also allows for the quick removal of such roof mounted systems rapidly and without the need for repair of penetrations. The non-slip attachment system uses, among other things, an array-stay retainer comprising a vertical member and a horizontal member. A high friction foam polymer padding is used to further secure the non-slip attachment system to the roof.

METHOD FOR INSTALLING SOLAR CELL MODULE
A method is disclosed for installing a solar cell module, which enables easy installation of a solar cell module on a rack, and also enables a worker to install a solar cell module without climbing on the roof. A solar cell module is installed on a rack mounted on a roof. The solar cell module includes a frame formed of a material containing a resin. The rack includes multiple rails each having a groove, and the grooves of a pair of the rails are disposed to be opposed to each other. The method of this invention comprises the steps of fitting the frame of the solar cell module into the groove such that the solar cell module is retained by the pair of the rails, and fixing the solar cell module to the pair of the rails to prevent the solar cell module from falling out of the grooves.
PHOTOVOLTAIC ELEMENT AND MOUNTED SURFACE COMPRISING SUCH PHOTOVOLTAIC ELEMENTS
A photovoltaic element is provided that comprises a photovoltaic converter panel and at least one mounting arrangement. The photovoltaic converter panel defines a front surface adapted to receive solar impinging light and defines a back surface opposing the front surface. The at least one mounting arrangement is mounted to the back surface of the photovoltaic converter panel by a glue. Furthermore, a mounted surface is provided that comprises at least two such photovoltaic elements.
