Dry ice bag for use with a cooler
10260792 · 2019-04-16 ·

The dry ice bag for use with a cooler is a device that receives a piece of dry ice, and which is placed inside of a cooler in order to cool said cooler. The dry ice bag includes a mesh opening along a bottom surface that is selectively exposed via a flap member in order to regulate the amount of cold that escapes from the dry ice bag. The dry ice bag also includes a securing member on a top surface such that the entire device is suspended from underneath a top surface of the cooler thereby enabling cold air to descend.

COLLAPSIBLE SHIPPING COOLER

Systems and methods for a collapsible shipping cooler are described herein. The shipping cooler can be changeable between an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration. The shipping cooler can comprise a base, a collapsible insulation assembly positioned partially within the base, a collapsible body coupled to the base, at least one divider configured to couple to the collapsible body, and a lid coupled to the collapsible body opposite the base. The collapsible insulation assembly can comprise a set of insulation walls that are at least partially movable and an inner chamber within the set of insulated walls. The collapsible body can be positioned around a portion of the collapsible insulation assembly when in the expanded configuration. The at least one divider can removably couple to one or more insulated walls of the set of insulated walls of the collapsible insulation assembly when the shipping cooler is in the expanded configuration.

Systems and methods for delivering perishable items

In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to delivering and maintaining perishable items within a certain temperature range during delivery. In some embodiments, there is provided a system for transporting merchandise including: a container for transporting merchandise within a predetermined temperature range in a delivery vehicle along a delivery route from a source location to a destination location, the container including: a merchandise storage area receiving merchandise and a coolant; an insulation compartment adjacent the merchandise storage area; a temperature sensor measuring the temperature in the merchandise storage area at predetermined time intervals during transport; and a control circuit configured to receive the temperature measurements from the temperature sensor during transport and to modify the insulation characteristics of the container during transport in response to the temperature measurements to maintain the merchandise within the predetermined temperature range.

Modular box assembly

A modular box assembly includes a box; a first thermal liner constructed of a first length of pre-laminated material, the pre-laminated material comprising an insulation batt in facing contact with a first sheet and with a second sheet, the first thermal liner defining three first liner panels; and a second thermal liner constructed of a second length of the pre-laminated material, the second thermal liner defining three second liner panels. A bottom box panel is covered by one of a first liner panel not covering any side box panel and a second liner panel not covering any side box panel. The insulation batt is formed from a mixture of reinforcement fibers and thermoplastic binder fibers, the reinforcement fibers comprising one of natural fibers, recycled cardboard, and a mixture of recycled cardboard and paper fibers.

COOLING CONTAINER USING PHASE CHANGE MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR OPERATING
20240271851 · 2024-08-15 ·

A cooling container having a coolant chamber and a product chamber. Cooling gases from the coolant chamber circulate between the coolant chamber and the product chamber to retain the latter at a desired low temperature. In one embodiment the cooling gases flow through a radiator disposed in the product chamber. In another embodiment a heat exchanger is provided on a divider wall between the coolant chamber and the product chamber. When a temperature sensor detects that the temperature in the product chamber exceeds a temperature set point, a controller opens valves that allow cool gases in the coolant chamber to circulate through the radiator or across the heat exchanger to lower the temperature in the product chamber.
