REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes: an inner case as assembled by a plurality of plates including an upper plate, a lower plate, a left plate, a right plate, and a rear plate, configured so that, while they are assembled with each other, form a storage compartment. At least one among the plurality of plate is injection molded. The refrigerator also includes an outer case configured to be coupleable to an outside of the inner case to form an external appearance; and a heat insulating material disposed between the inner case and the outer case. The at least one injection molded plate among the upper plate, the lower plate, the left plate, and the right plate includes a front flange integrally formed at a front side of the at least one injection molded plate, and the outer case is configured to be coupleable to the front flange.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE MATERIALS
A refrigeration unit system is disclosed. The system can comprise a system housing having a front panel, a back panel, two side panels, a bottom panel, a bezel having an air exhaust. The system can further comprise a plurality of air intake slots and a carrying handle above the air exhaust. The system can further comprise an assembly having a cold chamber central to the assembly. The assembly can comprise a thermoelectric module affixed to the chamber in direct contact. The thermoelectric module can be configured for conduction of a heat away from the cold chamber. The cold chamber can comprise a shelf removable from the cold chamber.
REFRIGERATION UNIT
A refrigeration unit includes a cabinet, a door coupled to the cabinet, at least one gasket coupled to the door, and a heat loop conduit. The cabinet includes a front perimeter that surrounds an opening to a storage compartment within the cabinet. The door is operable between an open position to provide access to the storage compartment and a closed position to conceal the opening to the storage compartment. The at least one gasket is configured to be compressed between the door and the front perimeter of the cabinet in the closed position of the door. The heat loop conduit has a first conduit portion that extends around a majority of the opening along the front perimeter of the cabinet and a second conduit portion that extends around the majority of the opening along the front perimeter of the cabinet.
SUPER INSULATING NANO-SPHERES FOR APPLIANCE INSULATION AND METHOD FOR CREATING A SUPER INSULATING NANO-SPHERE MATERIAL
An insulating structure for an appliance includes an outer layer and an inner layer, wherein an insulating cavity is defined therebetween. A plurality of hollow nano-spheres are disposed within the insulating cavity, wherein each of the hollow nano-spheres includes a diameter in the range of from approximately 50 nanometers to approximately 1000 nanometers and has a wall that defines the internal space, and wherein the wall of each hollow nano-sphere has a thickness that is in a range of from approximately 0.5 nanometers to approximately 100 nanometers. A fill material is disposed in the insulating cavity and wherein the fill material is disposed in the space defined between the plurality of hollow nano-spheres, and wherein the fill material includes at least one of powdered silica, granulated silica, other silica material, aerogel and insulating gas.
Door gasket assembly for a refrigerated appliance
A refrigerator appliance includes an icemaker that is selectively closeable by a door. An outer gasket is positioned about an edge of the door and a sealing gasket is positioned around a center portion of the door inside the outer gasket. A plurality of protrusions extend from a rim of the icemaker. A liner is aligned with and spaced apart from the rim. A first gasket and a second gasket are positioned between the rim and the liner.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a main body including a plurality of wall modules, a storeroom disposed inside the main body, and a door arranged to open or close the storeroom. The plurality of wall modules include a first wall module having a concave portion and a second wall module having a convex portion engaged with the concave portion. The convex portion includes an insulation filling space in which insulation is filled, and a fastening groove. A fastening member is inserted into the fastening groove so as to be fastened to the first wall module and the second wall module.
Refrigerator with adjustable bin system
A refrigerator includes a housing defining an interior compartment with an open side and a door rotatably coupled with the housing and selectively closing at least a portion of the open side. The door includes a door liner having a plurality of mounting members mounted thereto. The mounting members are foamed-in place by an interconnection with an insulation material provided in an inner cavity of the door. The mounting members further include mounting plates extending outwardly from an outer surface of the door liner. The refrigerator further includes a storage compartment system comprised of multiple interconnecting modules that are removeably mounted to the mounting plates of the mounting members. The interconnecting modules can be reconfigured to provide multiple arrangements of storage compartments supported on the door.
REFRIGERATOR AND BEAM FOR REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator contains a storage compartment, the storage compartment has an inner wall. A first door and a second door close off the storage compartment and a beam being rotatably disposed on the first door. The beam has an accommodating space for accommodating heat-insulation material. An end portion of the beam has an air blocking member, and when the first door is closed, the air blocking member is located between the end portion and the inner wall. The air blocking member is capable of effectively preventing excessive leakage of cold air and generation of condensation.
Refrigeration appliance cabinet
A refrigeration cabinet assembly for a refrigeration appliance (1) comprises an insulated cabinet (20) having five closed faces and an open front face providing access to an interior of the cabinet. A torsionally stiff structure fixed to one of the five closed faces (23) or a structure (31) is added to one of the five closed faces (23) so that together with that closed face a torsionally stiff structure results. The torsional stiffness of the assembly is thereby increased beyond that of the cabinet alone so that the insulated cabinet has an improved ability to resist twisting.
Modular box assembly
A modular box assembly includes a box, the box defining a top end and a bottom end disposed opposite from the top end, the box including a plurality of side panels extending between the top end and the bottom end, the plurality of side panels at least partially defining a box cavity within the box; and an inner box positioned within the box cavity, the inner box dividing the box cavity into a first sub-compartment and a second sub-compartment, the inner box including a channel tab extending outward from a side panel of the inner box, the channel tab engaging a first side panel of the plurality of side panels of the box.
