Transport and storage system

The present invention relates to the field of the transportation and storage of goods and to a transport and storage system and, in particular, a system for the transportation and storage of goods such as palletized goods and self-standing goods. The present invention seeks to provide a system that can enable goods to be securely and reliably horizontally, vertically and offset stacked, despite different sizes of goods and support members therefor, such as pallets, whereby wasted volumes arising from the presence of irregular loads, pallets or pallets of different levels or different load ratings in storage and transport can be minimized.

A livestock medication containment and administration container has a thermally insulated body defining an interior cavity and a top opening. A lid is movably attached to the thermally insulated body and has one or more apertures extending through the lid that are configured to receive a dispensing end of a livestock medication delivery device. Divider panels provide interior compartments for storage of livestock medication vials and associated administration supplies. Preferably, the lid is divided so that access to the medication and administration supplies may be accomplished through a first lid side while the medication delivery devices are carried in a second lid side.

An ice pack comprises a plastic sac with an external surface, the plastic sac forming an interior chamber, a substance within the interior chamber capable of absorbing thermal energy, and a coating, which contains one or more antimicrobial agents, on the external surface. The substance can comprise water, including polymer beads mixed with the water. The one or more antimicrobial agents can include a quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof, such as a silane quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof. The silane quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof can be 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium ion, 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride, 3-(trihydroxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium ion, or 3-(trihydroxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride. Instead of an ice pack, the apparatus comprising the coating containing one or more antimicrobial agents can be an object that is used around injured people and/or perishable items such as heating pads, coolers, and ice pack carriers.

INSULATED CARRIER FOR TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED ITEMS

The present application generally relates to devices and methods for transporting items, and it more specifically relates to insulated carriers for use in delivering temperature-controlled items such as perishable food.

Systems and methods for maintaining temperature control of items in a distribution network

A device, system, and method for maintaining temperature control of a distribution item, or of the contents of a distribution item, as the distribution item moves through the distribution network. A container housing an item can include a cooling unit, a heating unit, or both, and control circuitry including a temperature sensor. The control circuitry activates the cooling unit or heating unit as required to maintain the item at a desired temperature or within a desired temperature range.

SHIPPING SYSTEM FOR STORING AND/OR TRANSPORTING TEMPERATURE-SENSITIVE MATERIALS

Shipping system for storing and/or transporting temperature-sensitive materials. In one embodiment, the system includes an outer box having four side walls, bottom closure flaps, and top closure flaps. A vacuum insulated panel (VIP) is detachably coupled to one of the top closure flaps and is removably covered by a cover. An insulation unit is removably positioned within the outer box, the insulation unit including a plurality of VIPs arranged to define a cavity bounded by a bottom wall and four side walls. A disposable liner is removably mounted on the insulation unit. The liner may be a thermoformed sheet and may cover the interior and top surfaces of the insulation unit. A plurality of temperature-control members and a product box may be removably positioned in the liner. Preferably, the liner is shaped so that the temperature-control members snugly fit around all sides of the product box.

Phase change material (PCM) belts

A container assembly for controlling the thermal condition of cargo includes an insulated container having a cover and a pair of belt assemblies having a plurality of pouches. The container may comprise handles and/or a detachable and/or adjustable shoulder strap. The container assembly further includes a plurality of phase-changing material packs configured to provide for the control of the temperature of cargo contained within the container. The phase-changing material packs are positioned within the belt assemblies and are thermally conditioned prior to use. The belt assemblies may be made of a durable material and may be configured to provide for the expedient exchange of thermal energy between the phase-changing material packs and an exterior of the belt assemblies. The belt assemblies may comprise features that provide for the efficient orienting of the belt assemblies within the container and/or the appropriate selection of phase-changing material packs for a respective belt assembly.

Cooling device

The present invention relates to a cooling device, in particular a freezer, comprising a cooling circuit having a compressor, at least one evaporator, and a condenser; a space for cooling goods that can be closed at its upper surface; and a coolant reservoir at least partially surrounding an upper region of the space for cooling goods, wherein the at least one evaporator is disposed in the coolant reservoir, and wherein the at least one evaporator at least partially surrounds the upper region of the space for cooling goods.

Case for storing compression pants and shirt, and heat and cold packs

A portable case is particularly configured to store compression garments, and heat and cold packs to maintain respective elevated and reduced temperatures of the heat and cold packs when stored therein. The case includes a first shell coupled to a second shell to pivot between open and closed positions. A zipper releasably secures the two shells together in the closed position. A first thermal insulating material lines the interior of the first shell. A periphery of a second thermal insulating material is fixedly secured to the interior of the first shell a distance away from its full depth forming an insulated compartment. A third thermal insulating material subdivides the compartment into a first insulated sub-compartment for storing heat packs, and a second insulated sub-compartment for simultaneously storing cold packs in a compact arrangement. First and second zippers respectively provide access into the first and second insulated sub-compartment.

Wearable hydration/cooling system

An apparatus comprises a cooling medium compartment between first and second beverage compartments, and a water permeable membrane. The cooling medium compartment comprises a topside zipper and underside zipper. When the underside zipper is closed, there is no opening between the cooling medium compartment and the water permeable membrane. When the underside zipper is at least a partially open, there is an opening between the cooling medium compartment and the permeable membrane to allow water to move from the cooling medium compartment to the permeable membrane. The apparatus provides the option of whether or not to cool the back of the user's neck with a cooling medium placed in the apparatus that wets a water permeable portion of the apparatus that is in contact with the neck of the user.
