VACUUM STORAGE DEVICE AND REFRIGERATOR
A vacuum storage device includes a suction base, which is provided with a first suction port; a storage box configured to be detachably fixed to the suction base, defining a storage space within; where the storage box has a suction port; a vacuum pump configured to sequentially extract part or all of the air from the storage space through the first suction port and the suction port. The vacuum storage device allows for easy retrieval of ingredients into the storage, enhancing the user experience. There is also provided a refrigerator having the vacuum storage device.
Vacuum adiabatic body and refrigerator
Provided is a vacuum adiabatic body. To reduce a heat transfer amount between two plates, the vacuum adiabatic body includes: a conductive resistance sheet connecting plate members to each other, an exhaust port through which a gas of a third space is exhausted, and a sealing frame covering a conductive resistance sheet. A virtual line connecting both end portions of the conductive resistance sheet to each other is installed to be obliquely inclined when at least one extension direction of a first plate member or a second plate member is viewed in a horizontal direction.
Method and apparatus of extreme vacuum cooling
A method and apparatus is disclosed relating to food preparation in commercial kitchens and food processing plants. The disclosed extreme vacuum cooling (EVC) technology and apparatus can work in ultra low pressure conditions with adaptive pressure control to avoid potential liquid splash inside the vacuum chamber caused by un-controlled low pressure conditions. Clean air is added into the vacuum chamber to allow the chamber pressure to track a setpoint trajectory that may have ramp up periods in order to avoid liquid splash events. The apparatus enables the user to cool various kinds of foods quickly, save energy, and meet food safety regulations.
Multilayer cover of a vacuum drawer device
A multilayer cover has a sandwich design for placement on a drawer of a vacuum drawer device, and the cover allows an evacuation of the drawer interior after sealing against the drawer. The cover has an outer air-tight cover layer and a core layer, recesses molded into the core layer and partly into one of the at least one outer cover layer, and an evacuation channel, a pump, and at least one sensor are arranged therein. The cover is to have a more compact design with a very low height, resulting in a minimal susceptibility to malfunction. This is achieved in that a printed circuit board is arranged on one of the at least one outer air-tight cover layers so as to face the core layer or the at least one outer air-tight cover layer is designed as a printed circuit board on which the core layer lies and on which the electric components integrated into the cover are mechanically held and are electrically connected.
INTEGRATED DILUTION REFRIGERATORS
A dilution refrigerator is provided. The dilution refrigerator includes a plurality of thermalization plates configured to be cooled to a plurality of temperatures, and a first thermalization plate of the plurality of thermalization plates includes an integrated heat exchanger. The integrated heat exchanger includes channels formed in the first thermalization plate, and the channels are configured to allow helium to flow through the first thermalization plate during operation of the dilution refrigerator to improve heat exchange and cooling power of the dilution refrigerator.
INTEGRATED DILUTION REFRIGERATORS
A distributed refrigeration system is provided. The distributed refrigeration system comprises a pre-cooling system configured to be thermally coupled to two or more cryogenic devices and to provide a first cooling stage to the two or more cryogenic devices. The two or more cryogenic devices may be two or more of a dilution refrigerator, a low-temperature microscopy system, a .sup.3He refrigeration system, and/or a superconducting CMOS system.
Humidification and dehumidification process and apparatus for chilling beverages and other food products and process of manufacture
A novel self-cooling food product container apparatus and a process for manufacturing the same is disclosed. A self-cooling food product container combined with a substantive vapor transport system producing a humidification cooling process for cooling food and beverage products. Methods of assembling and operating the apparatus are also provided.
FRESHNESS-PRESERVING CONTAINER FOR FOOD WITH A LOW-PRESSURE GENERATING UNIT, AND DOMESTIC REFRIGERATOR WITH SUCH A FRESHNESS-PRESERVING CONTAINER
A freshness-preserving container for food, includes a shell with a cover which can be sealingly placed on the shell. The freshness-preserving container has a mechanically operating low-pressure generating unit with which an air pressure that is reduced compared to the surrounding area outside of the freshness-preserving container can be adjusted in the freshness-preserving container. The low-pressure generating unit has an actuating element which can be moved relative to the freshness-preserving container, and air can be suctioned out of the freshness-preserving container dependent on the movement of the actuating element. A domestic refrigerator including a freshness-preserving container is also provided.
Refrigerator having air pressure controllable storage container and storage method thereof
A refrigerator having an air pressure controllable storage container is allowed to control air pressure of the storage container to be temporarily lower than initial air pressure by turning on and off a vacuum pump. The vacuum pump sucks internal air of the storage container, and a controller turns on the vacuum pump such that internal air pressure of the storage container is lower than the initial air pressure, and turns off the vacuum pump such that the internal air pressure is restored to the initial air pressure.
Refrigerator module utilities enabled via connection
A connection system includes a feature module that supplies various functionalities, a portable countertop stand having an upright section that selectively receives the feature module and an umbilical connecting the portable stand to an external appliance to deliver utilities to the portable countertop stand. A utility port selectively delivers at least one utility to the feature module when engaged with the upright section. A utility receiver removably engages the utility port by hand without the use of tools and selectively receives a predetermined set of utilities when the feature module engages the upright surface. A connection interface detects when the feature module is engaged with the upright section and the predetermined utility set required by the engaged feature module. After the feature module is engaged, the connection interface prompts the utility port to release the predetermined utility set to the feature module.
