A container cap is configured to attach to the container and cover the top opening. The container cap includes a probe thermometer having a sensing tip positioned above the bottom recess when the container cap is attached to the container. A non-insulated cooling base has a protrusion configured to mate within the recess when the container is resting on the base. An insulated shell assembly includes a top and bottom configured to connect to each other, wherein the shell assembly is configured to at least partially encapsulate the container, the container cap and the cooling base.
HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATION APPARATUS WITH A DRAWER
A household refrigeration apparatus includes a housing, in which a receiving space for food is formed, as well as a door for closing the receiving space and a functional compartment. The functional compartment is provided with an externally accessible drawer and a front wall of the drawer is provided with a viewing window.
DEVICE FOR ALTERING TEMPERATURE OF BEVERAGE CONTAINERS
The disclosure features various embodiments and aspects of a chest for quenching beverages. The chest can include a tank for holding a chilled mixture of ice and water, an ice maker adapted for making ice having an output for ejecting ice into a conduit in fluid communication with the tank, and a plurality of quench trays disposed above the tank for holding containers of beverages located in first and second positions. The trays can be filled with cold water by way of a conduit in fluid communication with the tank. The quench trays can include a compartment defined by a bottom and a plurality of walls, and defining therein a plurality of rows for aligning and containing a plurality of beverage containers. The drawers can further include at least one drain orifice configured to guide water out of the quench tray.
Refrigerated gel pack divider for keeping beverage bottles cool during beverage box transport
A gel pack kit for keeping beverage bottles cool during transport includes a plurality of gel pack parts. The parts include notches allowing the parts to be attached perpendicular to one another and assembled into a gel pack divider. The divider includes a plurality of bottle cooling areas being the spaces between the adjacent gel packs in the assembled divider structure. A method of utilizing the gel pack divider kit to keep beverage bottles cool during transport includes assembling the gel pack kit to form the gel pack divider and then refrigerating the assembled divider. After purchasing bottled beverages such as multiple bottles of wine in a box, an original cardboard divider provided in the box is removed and replaced with the chilled, assembled gel pack divider. The bottles sit in the bottle cooling areas and the gel pack divider provides a cooling effect during transport in the original box.
Storage cabinet assembly
A storage cabinet assembly for outdoor storage of wine and related accessories includes a housing having a plurality of divider panels engaged thereto in an interior space thereof defining a plurality of compartments. The plurality of compartments comprises first, second, and third compartments. The first compartment is configured to position one of a refrigerator and a wine rack. The second compartment has a plurality of upper slats positioned therein to define a plurality of slots, which allow for insertion of bases of stemware to stow stemware within the second compartment. The third compartment opens into the second compartment and is used to stow utensils. The housing has positioned therein a first and second openings to allow access to the first and second compartments, respectively. A first door and a second door are hingedly engaged to the housing and are configured to selectively close the first and second openings, respectively.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator including a compressor, a condenser, a freezing chamber evaporator, a freezing chamber fan, a defrosting heater, a wine chamber evaporator, a wine chamber fan, a path switching device configured to guide the refrigerant condensed in the condenser to the freezing chamber evaporator in a freezing chamber mode and to guide the refrigerant condensed in the condenser to the wine chamber evaporator in a wine chamber mode, and a controller configured to turn on the defrosting heater to perform a freezing chamber defrosting mode for defrosting the freezing chamber evaporator, to control the path switching device to the wine chamber mode while the temperature of the wine chamber is dissatisfied when the temperature of the wine chamber is dissatisfied in the freezing chamber defrosting mode, and to drive the wine chamber fan.
Apparatus for the Rapid Cooling of Packaged Beverages
An apparatus for the rapid cooling of packaged beverages that includes a thermally insulated immersion tank capable of containing a liquid refrigerant and an evaporator coil placed within the tank, where the container will be submerged while held by gripping means connected to a vertical rotation axis mounted on a vertically movable cart, both driven by driving means under the control of a control unit that commands a series of sequential steps such as driving the rotation of said axial rotation axis within a predetermined speed range and period of time followed by slowing down of the rotation of said axial rotation axis at a predetermined speed with a simultaneous vertical reciprocating movement of the container by means of the vertically movable cart for a predetermined period of time as many times as established by the control unit.
INVENTORY INDICATION MECHANISM UTILIZING VISUAL INDICIA
A refrigerating appliance includes a cabinet that defines an interior cavity. A temperature sensing network monitors a temperature stratification of the interior cavity.
