Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a main body that defines a storage space, a door configured to open or close the storage space, and a dispenser located in the door and configured to dispense cooled water and purified water. The refrigerator also includes a purified water input part that inputs a command for dispensing the purified water, a cooled water input part that inputs a command for dispensing the cooled water, and a dispensing amount input part that sets an amount of purified water to be dispensed based on the purified water being selected through the purified water input part. The refrigerator further includes a filter device located within the storage space to purify water supplied from a water supply source, and a water tank storing water that has passed through the filter device in a cooled state.

A refrigerator and a home appliance, of which the exterior design can be changed without replacing an exterior panel by changing the exterior design using an electrophoretic display (EPD) panel are provided. The refrigerator includes a storage compartment, a door provided to open and close the storage compartment, and including a door body and an electrophoretic display (EPD) panel located in front of the door body, and a processor for controlling the electrophoretic display panel to change color on the basis of at least one of a user's selection or an operation state.

A smart, movable closure system that allows access to the interior from the exterior of the cabinet, is disclosed. In some embodiments, the movable structure may be coupled with a cabinet interior that is adapted to be kept at a temperature cooler than the exterior cabinet ambient temperature, for example, to store perishable consumer goods in a retail setting. In particular, the smart, movable closure system may include electronic components that display graphical renderings corresponding to one or more products stored in the retail product container. In addition, the smart, movable closure system may include a controller that, before a user opts-in, generates an opt-in invitation at the smart, movable closure system, wherein the user may interface with the system with a wireless communication device.
Smart Refrigerator
A smart refrigerator system which determines a location of each item in the refrigerator, and provides information to the user about the items in the refrigerator, without opening the refrigerator door. A sensor, such as a camera, can image an area adjacent to the internal cavity of the refrigerator. A processing system uses that information about items which are being put into and removed from the refrigerator, and forms a map of items that are in the refrigerator including information about the items in the refrigerator and a location of the item in the refrigerator.
WATER PREFILLING ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN A REFRIGERATING APPLIANCE
A fluid delivery system for an appliance includes a fluid line in selective communication with a fluid source. A shelf defines a fill zone positioned below an underside of the shelf. A shelf spigot is coupled with the fluid line and disposed proximate the underside of the shelf and over the fill zone. A fluid level sensor is positioned in communication with the fill zone. The fluid level sensor is also in communication with a controller that regulates a flow of fluid through the shelf spigot.
Portable container
A portable container has a payload chamber for holding goods and a lid operable to access the payload chamber. The portable container also has an electronic system with one or more power storage devices, circuitry that wirelessly communicates via a cell radio with a cloud-based data storage system or a remote electronic device, and an electronic display screen. The electronic system also has a button or a touch screen configured to be actuated by a user to a) automatically switch sender and recipient information on the electronic display screen to facilitate return of the portable container to the sender or b) automatically contact a parcel carrier to alert the parcel carrier that the portable container is ready for pickup.

Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a door frame and a perimetric surface of an insulation door panel of a panel unit that are spaced apart from each other. A component receiving groove is provided between the door frame and the perimetric surface of the insulation door panel, so that an operation module is received in the component receiving groove. When the operation module is received in the component receiving groove, at least of a part of the operation module is arranged to face a front surface of the panel unit through a bezel portion constituting the front surface of the panel unit. Therefore, a space for installing the operation module such as a detection sensor or a touch sensor is provided to be sufficiently wide along an edge of a door.
