APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR DELIVERING A HEATED FLUID
Apparatus and methods for delivering a heated fluid. The apparatus includes at least a preheat zone, an expansion zone, and an expanded zone comprising a plurality of trim heaters, at least one fluid flow-distribution sheet, and an outlet. The apparatus may be used for delivering the heated fluid onto a moving fluid-permeable substrate.
PRINTED MEDIA DRYER
An apparatus comprises a dryer to force air onto a printed media during use to dry the printed media, and an air collector comprising at least one suction opening throughout which, in use, air from the dryer is collected. The apparatus may guide the collected air back to the dryer. The at least one suction opening may be arranged so as to stop the printed media from rising due to pressure differential.

METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COMPOSITE FILM
A method of manufacturing a composite film, the method including: a coating step including coating a coating liquid containing a resin on one surface or both surfaces of a porous substrate to form a coating layer; a solidification step including solidifying the resin by bringing the coating layer into contact with a solidifying liquid to obtain a composite film including the porous substrate and a porous layer that is formed on one surface or both surfaces of the porous substrate and that includes the resin; a water washing step including washing the composite film with water; and a drying step including drying by removing water from the composite film while transporting the composite film at a transport speed of 30 m/min or more using a drying apparatus including a drying device including a contact type heating device and a hot air blowing device, wherein the composite film is brought into contact with a contact type heating device as well as exposed to hot air blown from a hot air blowing device, to remove water from the composite film being performed by bringing.
Multiple Belt and Multiple Zone Textile Dryer
The present invention provides a textile dryer having a housing defining a chamber having an infeed and an outfeed. A separation wall extends through the chamber to create a first zone having a first ambient condition and a second zone having a second ambient condition. A first conveyor extends through the first zone and a second conveyor extends through the second zone. A controller is provided to allow an operator to independently select the speed and direction of the first conveyor and the second conveyor, and to independently select the physical conditions of the first ambient condition and the second ambient condition, and to maintain these settings during the operation of the dryer.
DYE EXHAUSTION AND DRYER APPARATUS
An apparatus for dye application to textile manufactures, exhaustion of the applied dye, and drying of the textile manufacture. The apparatus, in some implementations, includes a dye applicator that applies dye evenly to a textile manufacture of varying length, one or more microwave elements for heating the textile manufacture with applied dye to exhaust the dye, and a blower system to dry the textile manufacture after application of the applied dye.
OVEN FOR MANUFACTURING A MINERAL WOOL PRODUCT
An oven for baking a thermally curable binder in a mat of mineral fibers, including plural compartments through which the mat of fibers passes successively, the mat being compressed and transported through the compartments by gas-permeable upper conveyors and lower conveyors, each compartment having a length along a direction of movement of the mat and including a mechanism introducing a hot air flow, located either below or above the fiber mat, and a mechanism extracting the air after having passed through the mat, respectively arranged either above or below the opposite face of the mat, so that the binder is progressively brought to a temperature higher than its curing temperature. In one compartment the mechanism introducing hot air includes air inlets that open partly on openings formed on a first lateral side of the compartment and partly on openings formed on the opposite lateral side of the compartment.

Air-wiping device opening and closing in one level plane
An air-wiping device for removing particulates, including water, adhering to an elongated member by compressed air is provided. In particular, this invention relates to an air-wiping device that loads said elongated member by opening with a sliding motion in one plane, instead of swinging open in two planes that is commonly to the conventional air-wiping devices embodied in a clamshell configuration, which not only substantially shortens the loading time but also greatly reduces the floor space needed to accommodate said device.
DRYER
A dryer dries a strip-shaped object to be dried by directing stream of air toward the object while conveying the object in a conveyance direction. The dryer includes a loading and conveying unit that conveys the object and a blowing box arranged above the loading and conveying unit and including an outlet through which the stream of air is blown toward the loading and conveying unit. The loading and conveying unit includes a roller, supporting portions rotatably supporting the roller. The blowing box is positioned above the loading and conveying unit and formed in a box shape extending in the width direction, the blowing box including a box body that forms the outlet and accommodates air and positioning portions that determine a position of the box body in the vertical direction.
