WEB DRYING APPARATUS
A web drying apparatus, comprises: two blower units which are arranged vertically between an upper dry path and a lower dry path disposed below the upper dry path and at least partially overlap each other when viewed from a vertical direction. One blower unit disposed on an upper side, the other blower unit disposed on a lower side. The lower end part of the one blower unit deviates from the upper end part of the other blower unit in the horizontal direction and protrudes to be lower than the upper end part in the vertical direction.
Microwave dryers for printing systems that utilize electromagnetic and radiative heating
Microwave dryers and a method of fabricating microwave dryers are disclosed. The microwave dryers include a microwave source that generates electromagnetic energy to dry a wet colorant applied to a continuous-form print medium. The microwave dryers further include a microwave waveguide electromagnetically coupled to the microwave source that transports the electromagnetic energy between a first end and a second end. The microwave waveguide includes a passageway that is sized to pass the continuous-form print medium through the microwave waveguide. The microwave dryer further includes a plurality of microwave absorbing elements within the microwave waveguide that absorb the electromagnetic energy and heat the wet colorant.
Curl Resistant Web Handling System
A web handling system is disclosed. The web handling system includes first dancer rollers coupled to engage and move a web of a print medium in a forward and backward direction upon stopping a printing operation and allow forward motion during the printing operation.

Adjustable interlacing of drying rollers in a print system
Systems and methods for adjustable interlacing of drying rollers in a print system. One system is an apparatus that includes first rollers that conduct heat from a heat source, and dry a web of print media as the web travels over a front side of the first rollers in a first direction. A last roller of the first rollers turns the web in a second direction. The apparatus also includes second rollers disposed a distance above the first rollers and that transport the web in the second direction. The apparatus further includes a movement mechanism that reduces the distance between the second rollers and the first rollers to cause the second rollers to occupy spaces between the first rollers so that the web traveling in the second direction contacts a back side of the first rollers to further dry the web.

Method and unit for thermosetting printed fabrics
A method for thermosetting printed fabrics, comprising: providing a heated roller rotatable about a rotation axis and having a cylindrical outer surface, advancing a printed fabric in contact with the cylindrical outer surface of the heated roller, wherein the heated roller is rotated with a peripheral speed different from the speed of the fabric.

Heating drum and ink-jet printing device equipped with the same
A heating drum, which guides a long-sized medium and also heats and dries the medium, includes a cylinder-shaped main body part, disc-shaped limb parts attached to the end parts of the main body part, and a shaft core attached to the limb parts. On an edge of an inner circumferential surface of the main body part, a cut-out part extending in the circumferential direction is formed. A groove part also extending in the circumferential direction is formed on the inner circumferential surface on an inner side from the cut-out part of the main body part. The cut-out part and the groove part are in parallel with each other, and the limb part is fitted to the cut-out part. A claw part is fixed to the limb part by a fitting tool, so that a hook part of the claw part is freely movably fitted to the groove part.
