Building element for modular device, hot-swap detection circuit and orientation detection circuit
A building element for a modular device includes a male connector comprising M first magnets, a first ground terminal, a first detection terminal, a first power terminal, and a first signal terminal; and a female connector comprising M second magnets that are magnetically attractable to the first magnets, N second ground terminals, O second detection terminals, P second power terminals, and a second signal terminal. When the male connector of one building element is mechanically connected to the female connector of another building element, the first ground terminal, the first detection terminal, the first power terminal and the first signal terminal of the male connector of the one of two building elements respectively come into contact with one of the second ground terminals, one of the second detection terminals, one of the second power terminals, and the second signal terminal of the other one of the two building elements.
Modular construction panels and fasteners therefor
Units and fasteners for a modular construction set are provided. A unit includes a panel having a front surface and a back surface opposite the front surface. The panel is made of a flexible material that biases the panel to a flat state. The panel includes an aperture between the front surface and the back surface. The unit further includes a fastener affixed to the panel at the aperture, the fastener including a first piece and a second piece joinable to the first piece through the aperture to affix the fastener to the panel. The fastener further includes a magnet disposed between the first piece and the second piece to engage the fastener with an oppositely facing fastener of the modular construction set.

A cube body comprising four U-shaped frames, each of the four U-shaped frames has two rectangular corners and two open ends, wherein a first connection is arranged at each of the two rectangular corners and perpendicular to the two open ends, the two open ends are provided with a second connection which is insertable into the first connection of another one of the four U-shaped frames, each of the two rectangular corners has a first magnetic bead inside, a first engaging structure is arranged on each inner side of each of the four U-shaped frames. A magnetic cube roller coaster comprising the said cube body and a magnetic plain plate is also provided.
FAMILY HAND PUPPET
A family hand puppet. A substantially solid body is provided in the shape of a human hand, the body having a main portion and a plurality of separate fingers extending therefrom, each finger having a distal end. A set of separate attachments is also provided, and a fastening mechanism such as hook and loop fasteners or adhesive tape releasably connects the set of separate attachments to corresponding distal ends of the fingers. In another embodiment, the puppet has a hollow body, forming a glove for articulation by a human hand inserted therein.

Disclosed is a connection unit which comprises: a body; a magnet disposed on at least one side of a peripheral edge of the body; and at least three electrode terminals disposed on the one side of the body, the one side having the magnet disposed thereon, wherein an outer surface of the one side of the body has a curved surface or a surface having a polygonal cross section, the electrode terminals are disposed along the curved surface or the surface having the polygonal cross section, the at least three electrode terminals comprise one or more positive electrode terminals and negative electrode terminals, and the one or more positive electrode terminals and negative electrode terminals are disposed on the one side so as to be line-symmetrical about a perpendicular line perpendicular to the one side of the body and crossing the center of the one side of the body.
MAGNETIC MAT WITH REMOVABLE COVER HAVING ROTATING MAGNETS
Implementations of a magnetic mat with removable cover having rotating magnets (magnetic mat) are provided. In some implementations, the magnetic mat comprises an insert, a cover, pockets, and magnets.
In some implementations, a method for using the magnetic mat comprises assembling two or more of the magnetic mats together in a desired shape configuration.
In some implementations, the method may further comprise disassembling the magnetic mats from the assembled shape configuration. In some implementations, the method may further comprise reassembling the magnetic mats into another desired shape configuration.
Systems and Methods for Lynchpin Structure Applications
A Lynchpin structure may be combined with one or more additional Lynchpin structures to form a compound Lynchpin propulsion structure. Each Lynchpin structure may include six pentangular areas, and one or more of the pentangular areas may include a propulsion device. The propulsion may be used to propel the compound Lynchpin propulsion structure through or over various media, such as through air, across ground, on or underwater, or through or over other media. The propulsion may include avionic propulsion, ground propulsion, hydrodynamic propulsion, or other types of propulsion. A single type of propulsion device may be used within one or more of the pentangular areas, or diverse types of propulsion may be used to provide various navigational performance or multi-mode operation. Each propulsion device may also include a device to direct the propulsion, such as a single or multi-axis gimble or adjustable aerodynamic control surface.
Spinning magnetic toy block
A set of magnetic spinning toy blocks can include eight magnetic spinning toy blocks, and each of the magnetic spinning toy blocks can have a similar structure. The magnetic spinning toy block includes a frame having a frame opening. The frame has magnet retainers formed as chambers in the frame at a periphery of the frame. Magnets are mounted within the magnet retainers, and the magnets include a pair of upper magnets which include an right upper magnet and a left upper magnet. The magnets include pair of lower magnets which include a right lower magnet and a left lower magnet. The frame holds a rotating panel and the rotating panel is mounted within the frame.
MAGNETIC CONSTRUCTION BLOCK TOY SET
A magnetic block set comprising a plurality of magnetically connectable magnetic block units. Each magnetic block unit includes a block body having two or more connection faces. Each connection face includes a plurality of connection face edges and a connection face surface and each connection face is a square. Each magnetic block unit also includes one or more magnetic elements on each of the tow or more connection faces, each magnetic element having a magnetic polarity relative to the connection face that is the same as each of the other magnetic elements on all of the connection faces. Each magnetic block unit further includes an outer shell covering both the block body and each of the one or more magnetic elements. The outer shell includes an indicator of the polarity of the magnetic elements within the magnetic block unit.
Game tile system
A tile game system is provided that includes a plurality of two-dimensional and three-dimensional components. The two-dimensional components can include a plurality of modular tiles provided in various sizes and configurations that can be joined together to form a grid-based gameplay area. The three-dimensional components can include external boundaries for the gameplay area, internal boundaries, terrain elements such as columns and staircases, and game figures. According to aspects of the present disclosure, the external and internal boundaries can be provided with recessed sections that allow a game figure to be contained within a single grid square and prevent the grid of the gameplay area from becoming warped. According to some aspects of the present disclosure the internal and external boundaries can be illuminated and provided with removable and interchangeable light-permeable skins that allow a user to switch between various illuminated designs.
