Three-dimensional geometric art toy
A geometric art toy (10) comprises a plurality of first toy members (312A) and a plurality of second toy members (312B). Each first toy member (312A) includes a plurality of first magnets (314A) that are oriented to exhibit a first polarity. Each second toy member (312B) includes a plurality of second magnets (314B) that are oriented to exhibit a second polarity that is substantially opposite to the first polarity. Each first toy member (312A) is movably coupled to another first toy member (312A) and one of the plurality of second toy members (312B). Each of the first toy members (312A) and the second toy members (312B) are formed in a shape of a tetrahedron. The first magnets (314A) and the second magnets (314B) enable the geometric art toy (10) to be alternatively and stably positioned in a first configuration and a second configuration that is different than the first configuration.
MAGNETIC CONSTRUCTION TOY
Magnetic construction toy refers to engaging games and may be used to assemble three-dimensional figures. This is a magnetic construction toy containing elements in the form of polyhedrons with magnets placed inside each face and distinguished by the fact that the elements are made in the form of tetrahedron, or octahedron, or cube, or semi-tetrahedron formed by tetrahedron division into equal parts along the vertical axis, or semi-octahedron formed by octahedron division into equal parts along the vertical axis, or semi-octahedron formed by octahedron division into equal parts along the horizontal axis, or quarter-octahedron formed by division of semi-octahedron formed by octahedron division into two equal parts along the horizontal axis into two equal parts along the vertical axis.
Systems and methods for enhanced building block applications
A curvilinear tetrahedral enhanced building block may be formed. The block may include sigmoid or reverse sigmoid curve edges, and may include curved vertices. The shape various planes or vertices of the block may be selected or adjusted to exert a force against a surrounding viscous medium. The block may include a conductive element configured to generate an electrostatic field, and may include a magnetic element configured to generate a magnetic field. The block may be configured to conduct electricity to a surrounding dielectric fluid, and the block's generation of a magnetic field may induce magnetohydrodynamic motion within the dielectric fluid.
Rod-shaped module for toy magnetic construction kits and method for making same
A module for a toy construction kit includes an elongated, monolithic body made from a non-magnetic material and having a central section, a pair of opposed ends, and a pair of tapered neck sections, one of which is positioned between the central section and one end of the body and the other of which is positioned between the central section and the other end of the body. One end of the body is at least partially covered by a pair of dome-shaped shells positioned on opposed sides thereof. The other end of the body is at least partially covered by another pair of dome-shaped shells positioned on diametrically opposed sides thereof. Each one of the shells is made from a magnetic material and is provided with a receptacle for receiving a plug of the non-magnetic material which forms a corresponding end of the body to thereby secure the shells to the body when the body and shells are integrated by way of a co-molding process.
