A ROD OF VARIABLE LENGTH FOR CONSTRUCTION TOYS
The present invention relates to different rod configurations (20) for construction toys, wherein the length of the rod (20) is variable. The rod (20) extends in a longitudinal axis and comprises two opposite ends, each end provided with a magnetic element (22). The two ends are spaced from one another by a rod length, wherein the length is variable. The rod (20) has a rod width, wherein the width varies periodically between a first width (W1) and a second width (W2), wherein the ratio between the first and second widths (W1, W2) changes when varying the rod length.
System and method for a magnetic block assembly
A system and method for magnetic building block toys that provide free rotation in any direction creating a higher freedom of movement and design whereby when assembled, the building blocks create effects only typically seen in digital environments such as computer aided designs or video game, whereby due to utilizing magnets for these connections, the base play area is no longer restricted to a flat horizontal playing area such as the table or the ground and instead a piece of ferromagnetic material including an iron plate may be utilized as a design area allowing for greater flexibility for creativity.
MAGNETIC TOY
A magnetic toy that includes: a first magnetic ring; a second magnetic ring; and a shaft to support the first magnetic ring and the second magnetic ring. The shaft includes at least one end cap. One embodiment, the shaft includes an end cap at a first end and clip at a second end, alternatively the shaft may include a first end cap and a second end cap. In one particulary embodiment, the magnetic toy may be implemented through a bracelet; and a plurality of magnetic rings on the bracelet.
Systems and Methods for Transcendental Lighting Applications
Enhanced building blocks may be formed from one or more basic shapes. Enhanced building blocks may include magnetic materials (e.g., magnets, ferromagnetic metals), piezoelectric materials, or lights (e.g., LEDs). Enhanced building blocks may be combined to form or give the appearance of various geometric structures, and may be used in various lighting applications.
CIRCUIT BLOCKS
Circuit blocks are provided. A circuit block may include a corner section including an outer edge and an inner edge, opposite the outer edge, the corner section including a flexible, conductive material. The circuit block may also include a retainer section configured to electrically couple to a substrate. The inner edge of the corner section and the retainer section may be configured to form an inner region configured to receive and retain a magnet. Associated devices are also provided.
Magnetic tower
A magnetic tower pet toy includes a base, a pole member, and an arm. The base has a bottom portion and an extension extending from the bottom portion, the extension including a base magnet disposed therein. The pole member extends from the extension. The arm member includes an opening configured to receive the pole member and a first magnet. The first magnet is configured to be repelled by the base magnet such that the arm member is disposed spaced away from the extension and capable of rotating about the pole member.
MODULAR ELECTRONIC BUILDING SYSTEMS WITH MAGNETIC INTERCONNECTIONS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Electrical connectors, electrical modules, and systems are provided. In one aspect, an electrical connector includes a housing defining a side surface, an electrical conductor supported by the housing and including an engagement portion proximate the side surface of the housing. The engagement portion is adapted to engage another electrical conductor of another electrical connector. The connector also includes a magnet supported by the housing proximate the side surface of the housing, a projection extending from the side surface of the housing, and a receptacle defined in the side surface of the housing. In other aspects, an electrical module includes at least one of these electrical connectors. In further aspects, a system includes a plurality of these modules and the modules are selectively couplable together.
FLEXIBLE CONSTRUCTION UNIT, KIT, AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING A STRUCTURE
A construction unit may have a main body formed from a flexible material. The main body may have a first side and a second side. The construction unit may have a plurality of magnetic connectors attached to the main body. A kit for construction of a structure may have a plurality of construction units, at least one flexible link, at least one active unit, and at least one control unit. A method of making a structure includes a first step of providing a plurality of construction units. There is second step of connecting at least one of the magnetic connectors of a first one of the construction units with at least one of another one of the magnetic connectors of the first one of the construction units, and at least one of the magnetic connectors of a second one of the construction units, whereby the structure is formed.
