Method, arrangement, and pelletising plant
A method includes the introduction of a first medium into the compartment through an inlet and the heating of the first medium when it is present in the inlet. The heating takes place through the use of a combustion arrangement that is arranged in the inlet and that comprises fuel. The heating, the use of the combustion arrangement, includes in turn the ignition of the fuel, combustion of the fuel, and the transfer of the combustion heat to the first medium that is present at the combustion arrangement in the inlet. The combustion arrangement, is arranged in a region in the inlet, which in turn is arranged outside of the direct passage of the first medium in and through the inlet, such that the ignition of the fuel, the combustion of the fuel and the transfer of combustion heat to the first medium take place in this region.
Plasma and Oxygas Fired Furnace
The present disclosure concerns an apparatus suitable for smelting and separating metals in flexible oxido-reduction conditions. More particularly, it concerns an apparatus for smelting metallurgical charges comprising a bath furnace susceptible to contain a molten charge up to a determined level, characterized in that the furnace is equipped with: at least one non-transfer plasma torch for the generation of first hot gases; at least one oxygas burner for the generation of second hot gasses; and, submerged injectors for injecting said first and second hot gases below said determined level.
INTEGRATED SENSOR SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR COMBUSTION PROCESSES
An integrated sensor system for use in a furnace system including a furnace having at least one burner and two or more zones each differently affected by at least one furnace parameter regulating energy input into the furnace, including a first temperature sensor positioned to measure a first temperature in the furnace system, a second temperature sensor positioned to measure a second temperature in the furnace system; and a controller programmed to receive the first and second measured temperatures, and to adjust operation of a furnace system parameter based on a relationship between the first and second temperatures, thereby differentially regulating energy input into at least two of the zones of the furnace; wherein the relationship between the first and second temperatures is a function of one or more of a difference between the two temperatures, a ratio of the two temperatures, and a weighted average of the two temperatures.
COMBUSTION HEAT GENERATOR WITH RECIRCULATION REGION
Disclosed is a combustion heat generator with a recirculation region for forming uniform temperature distribution in a combustion chamber by forming a gas recirculation region around a central part of a combustion space in a housing and injecting fuel into the gas recirculation region to generate space combustion based on the recirculation region.
CEMENT KILN BURNER DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
A cement kiln burner device includes a powdered-solid-fuel flow channel, a first air flow channel placed inside the powdered-solid-fuel flow channel to be adjacent to the powdered-solid-fuel flow channel, having means for swirling an air flow, an outer air flow-channel group placed concentrically in an outermost side outside the powdered-solid-fuel flow channel, having three or more second air flow channels adapted to form means for straightly forwarding an air flow, and a combustible-solid-waste flow channel placed inside the first air flow channel. The second air flow channels are placed proximally to each other in a radial direction within a range where air flows ejected from the respective second air flow channels are merged to form a single air flow, and are configured to control flow rates of the air flow ejected from the respective second air flow channels, independently for each second air flow channel.
Vertical ring shaft kiln
Invention relates to a vertical ring shaft kiln comprising a vertical burning region (1); an intermediate sintering zone (Z.sub.3) surrounded by a first wall (10) and an opposite second wall (20) at the burning region (1) to obtain a clinker from a particulate raw material flowing downwards direction.
KILN CONTROL
A gas fired burner control system for a kiln for firing for instance ceramic items. The system including a plurality of operating modes, with the system being configured such that during a firing cycle the system can move between operating in different modes.
ROTARY KILN HAVING SEGMENTED TEMPERATURE CONTROL CAPABILITY
A rotary kiln capable of segmented temperature control includes a kiln body, a kiln head cover, a kiln tail cover, and a bottom base. A drive device is disposed between the bottom base and the kiln body. The kiln further includes a first fuel supply pipe having a supply segment, a connecting segment, and a rotating segment. The supply segment is fixedly disposed on an outer side wall of the kiln body. The rotating segment is disposed coaxially with the kiln body and connected to a fuel supply source through a rotatory joint. The supply segment communicates with the rotating segment through the connecting segment. Multiple groups of combustion components are disposed on the outer side wall of the kiln body, and a fuel inlet of each combustion component is connected to the supply segment of the first fuel supply pipe through a branch pipe.
METHOD OF HEATING UP FURNACE BOTTOM, AND BURNER LANCE USED IN THE METHOD
A method of heating up a furnace bottom and a burner lance used in the method are proposed. The method of heating up the furnace bottom includes a step of opening, in the tap hole, a burner lance insertion hole having a diameter larger than a diameter of the burner lance so as to penetrate into the furnace, a step of installing the burner lance in the opened burner lance insertion hole, a step of filling a gap between the installed burner lance and a furnace exterior side of the tap hole with a refractory, and a step of blowing in gas for heating into the furnace from the burner lance to heat up the furnace bottom.
METHOD AND SHAFT FURNACE FOR BURNING CARBON-CONTAINING MATERIAL IN A SHAFT FURNACE
A shaft furnace for firing carbonate-containing material may include, in a flow direction of the material, a preheating zone, a firing zone, a cooling zone, and a material outlet for discharging the material from the shaft furnace. Burner lances project into the firing zone. At least one burner lance has a first penetration depth into the firing zone and at least one further burner lance has a second penetration depth into the firing zone that is greater than the first penetration depth. A primary air conduit may be configured to convey combustion air and may be connected to at least one burner lance. An oxygen conduit for conveying oxygen into the firing zone may be arranged such that oxygen flows from the oxygen conduit at least one burner lance having the second penetration depth.
