An information processing device is provided to present a sensation to a user taking a delay occurring before sound is perceived by the user appropriately into consideration. The information processing device includes a generation section that generates, on the basis of a difference between a first timing at which a sound is to be outputted from an acoustic presentation section and a second timing at which the sound is to be perceived by a first user, first data to be used for presentation of a sensation to the first user by a sensation presentation section worn by the first user.

Multi-platform vibro-kinetic system

A multi-platform vibro-kinetic system comprises a plurality of motion platforms each having actuators to be displaceable to produce vibro-kinetic effects. The system may obtain movements of one or more operator(s), interpret the movements of the operator and identifying from the movements an operator instruction for effect generation, and output a motion signal containing instructions for producing a vibro-kinetic effect on at least one of the motion platforms as a response to the operator instruction.

MODULAR SENSORY PLATFORM

There is disclosed a modular sensory platform for generating an experience for a guest on the platform located on an event floor of a venue. At least one deck module may each include a frame with a bottom side for mounting to the event floor, a side edge bordering the frame, and a standing surface opposite the bottom for supporting the guest. Lift actuators may be positioned along the side edge or under the deck for changing a distance between the event floor and the standing surface according to a lift signal. One or more sensory stimuli each receivable of a stimulus signal may be mounted to the frame and include at least one of a vibration buzzer, a low-frequency transducer, smoke effects, a heater, a water spritzer, air and scent lines, an air blaster and scent emission, a haptic device, fiber optic lighting, LED lighting, and a fog unit.

MOTION SIMULATOR FOR AN ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM, AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM
20220249964 · 2022-08-11 ·

A motion simulator for an entertainment system has a movable platform with one or more viewing positions and a supporting element for spectators to lean against. The platform is mounted on a support so as to have limited movability. A drive for moving the movable platform relative to the support has a cable drive fastened on the one hand to the support and on the other hand via at least one attachment point to the platform. An energy storage device is fastened between the support and the platform. The drive device pivots the platform about a pivot axis oriented substantially orthogonally to a central axis. The attachment point of the energy storage device and the point(s) of the cable drive device to the platform are arranged between the first pivot axis and the front face. The energy storage device pushes against the bottom face of the platform.

USER-SPECIFIC INTERACTIVE OBJECT SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A system that includes an interactive object comprising a special effects system, a controller that controls operation of the special effects system, and environmental sensors configured to generate sensor data. The system includes a central controller that operates to receive user profiles and receive sensor data from the environmental sensors of an interactive environment. The central controller is then able to identify a user based on the collected sensor data, wherein the identified user is associated with the interactive object. The central controller is then able to characterize a movement of the interactive object based on the sensor data and communicate instructions to the controller of the interactive object to activate a special effect of the special effect system, wherein the instructions are based on the user profile, the user profile being associated with the identified user, and the characterized movement or action of the interactive object.

INTERACTIVE THEATER SYSTEM WITH REAL-TIME FEEDBACK AND DYNAMIC SPECIAL EFFECTS
20220258044 · 2022-08-18 ·

The interactive theater system is executed on an interactive gaming computer (IG PC) configured to execute an interactive multi-player video game. The IG PC outputs a video stream to a display system, such as a projector and screen, which allows the players to view the multi-player video game. Each player sits in a multi-sensory seat for providing multi-sensory feedback to each player during execution of the interactive multi-player video game. The player provides input using an input device having an infrared camera and motion sensors. The infrared camera is used to image an infrared light arrangement positioned above-the multi-sensory seats. Infrared camera data and motion sensor data is used by the IG PC to accurately determine the real time position of each input device. Players in a first interactive theater system can compete with players in a second interactive theater system in real time.

INTERACTIVE DISPLAY WITH SPECIAL EFFECTS ASSEMBLY

A three-dimensional display system includes a first display and a second display spaced apart from the first display having one or more light sources configured to emit light and to illuminate the first display, where the first display is at least partially transparent such that the second display is visible through the first display. The three-dimensional display system includes a special effect system disposed at least in part between the first display and the second display and is configured to be activated to cause a special effect to be visible through the first display. The three-dimensional display system includes a controller communicatively coupled to the first display, the second display, and the special effect system.

Control method for attraction apparatus and attraction system

An attraction system includes at least one detector, the attraction apparatus, and a controller. The at least one detector detects blood flow information of a user, the attraction apparatus provides at least one stimulus to the user, and the controller is connected to the at least one detector and the attraction apparatus to control the attraction apparatus based on the blood flow information. A control method for the attraction apparatus is executed by the controller and includes: obtaining, from the at least one detector, an amount of change in the blood information before and after the at least one stimulus is provided to the user; and controlling an operation of the attraction apparatus, based on a result of comparison of the amount of change with a threshold.

Gaming cabin for virtual reality application

A gaming cabin includes a display device, an adjustable chair, a degree-of-freedom adjusting device, a situation simulator, and a system end. The degree-of-freedom adjusting device is configured to provide three degrees of freedom for the display device along the vertical axis, along the horizontal axis and yaw, as well as provide automatic view-switching and surround sound control. The system end is configured to adjust the resolution of the display device using foveated rendering technique, thereby increasing system efficiency. The situation simulator is configured to provide visual, olfactory, tactile or impact effect during VR applications.
