Heat transfer panel having non-planar internal channels with single planar joint

A heat rejection panel comprising a first and a second plate. The first plate comprises an oscillating heat pipe face having a plurality of first opened elongated recesses formed therein, and the second plate comprises an oscillating heat pipe face having a plurality of second open elongated recesses formed therein. The first plate oscillating heat pipe face is hermetically sealed to the second plate oscillating heat pipe face forming a bond joint therebetween. The first plate caps the second open elongated recesses and the second plate caps the first open elongated recesses such that first open elongated recesses are physically and fluidly connected to the second open elongated recesses, thereby forming at least one non-planar oscillating heat pipe channel within the panel that reciprocates back and forth across the bond joint having the bond joint as a longitudinal axis.

A heat exchanger in one aspect of the present disclosure comprises a plurality of plates and a fin. The fin comprises at least one first portion and at least one second portion. The at least one first portion is a wall surface that comprises at least one first opening. The at least one second portion, which is paired with the first portion, is a wall surface different from the first portion. The second portion comprises a second opening paired with a corresponding one of the at least one first opening. The fin comprises at least one opening pair, which is a pair of the first opening and the second opening. The at least one opening pair has a non-overlapping positional relationship in which the paired first opening and second opening are at least partially non-overlapping along a flow direction of a second fluid.

FLAT PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER

A flat plate heat exchanger module for use in aerospace applications, automotive applications, industrial applications or similar. The flat plate heat exchanger module comprises a stack of heat exchanger plates, where at least one of the heat exchanger plates further comprises at least one elongated aperture extending across the surface of the heat exchanger plate. This elongated aperture is in fluid isolation from the fluid flowing across the surface of the heat exchanger plate. The use of at least one elongated aperture throughout the stack of heat exchanger plates minimises the overall effect of the expansion and contraction of the metal due to exposure to high temperature gradients. A method of manufacturing such a heat exchanger module is also provided.

Heat Exchanger System

A heat exchanger system for an agricultural vehicle. The heat exchanger system has at least two separate heat exchanger assemblies, where an adjustable baffle is used to vary the airflow between the heat exchanger assemblies, accordingly varying the cooling effect of the assemblies, based on system requirements. The adjustable baffle may be arranged to restrict or block at least a portion of a heat exchanger to reduce airflow through the exchanger, to provide a flow bypass of an exchanger, and/or to proportionally adjust the airflow through a pair of heat exchangers provided as part of a single heat exchanger assembly.

Vehicle interior heat exchanger and inter-header connecting member of vehicle interior heat exchanger

Cooling performance is secured by reducing a compression loss when a high-pressure gas refrigerant is allowed to flow without heat exchange on cooling in a vehicle interior heat exchanger. In the vehicle interior heat exchanger, an upstream header and a downstream header are communicated and connected with the same end side of the refrigerant circulation tubes of an upstream tube group and a downstream tube group where the refrigerant circulation tubes are stacked. Internal spaces of the upstream header and the downstream header are communicated and connected with each other via communication holes in the boss portions of the connecting member. In the vehicle interior heat exchanger, the total opening area of the communication holes is set such that the percentage thereof, with respect to the total opening area of the channel on the uppermost stream side of the upstream tube group, is in the range of 38% to 93%.
