THERMAL CRACKING TUBE WITH FLUID AGITATING ELEMENT
The present invention provides a thermal cracking tube formed with an agitating element that has a good agitation effect and improves heat transfer efficiency while minimizing an increase in the pressure loss of the fluid flowing through the cracking tube.
A thermal cracking tube 10 with an agitating element of the present invention is a thermal cracking tube having a tube axis with one end and the other end, wherein a fluid inlet is on the one end and a fluid outlet is on the other end, the tube being provided on an inner surface thereof with one or more fluid agitating elements 20 extending from the inner surface of the tube and having an inwardly facing top portion, wherein the agitating element is helically inclined to or is orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the tube axis, and the top portion deviates to the fluid inlet side 11 or the fluid outlet side 12, relative to a center 0 of a width direction of the agitation element.
Heat exchanger
A heat exchanger for a gas turbine engine comprising a compressor, a combustor and a turbine. The heat exchanger comprising alternating hot and cold channels. Compressed air from the compressor flows through the cold channels and exhaust gas from the turbine flows through the hot channels. Each cold channel comprises first and second opposing surfaces conveying compressed air along a first path. Each cold channel comprises rows of vortex generators and pin fins extending from the first or second surfaces along the first path. The rows extend substantially perpendicular to the first path. Each hot channel is defined by a first and second opposing surfaces conveying exhaust gas along a second path substantially perpendicular to the first path. Each hot channel comprises rows of vortex generators and pin fins extending from the first or second surfaces along the second path. The rows extend substantially perpendicularly to the second path.

Mounting Arrangement for Turbulators of a Furnace Heat Exchanger
A boiler apparatus having a combustion chamber, a container for receiving liquid to be heated, a flue, and tubes passing through the container to join the combustion chamber and flue includes a tube cleaning system comprising outer edges of turbulators that are in contact with the respective inner tube surface, a horizontally extending shaft over the tubes, and pivotal connections by which the downwardly depending turbulators are connected to the shaft. The shaft defines an axis about which it is pivotal, where by pivoting of the shaft the turbulators are moved relative to the tubes in vertical longitudinal sliding movement from an operating position to a raised position and back thereto so as to generate a cleaning action against the inner tube surface. Each turbulator is removably attached to the shaft independently of the other allowing each to be removed for cleaning without disassembling a remainder of the tube cleaning system.
Liquid-cooled-type cooling device and manufacturing method for same
A liquid-cooled-type cooling device includes a casing having a top wall, a bottom wall, and a cooling-liquid passage, and a radiating member disposed in the cooling-liquid passage. The radiating member has a substrate and a plurality of pin-shaped fins. Longitudinally intermediate portions of the pin-shaped fins are brazed to the substrate. The substrate has a plurality of fin insertion holes, and the pin-shaped fins are inserted into the fin insertion holes of the substrate. A plurality of convex portions are integrally formed on the longitudinally intermediate portion of each pin-shaped fin. The substrate and the pin-shaped fins are provisionally fixed together by plastically deforming the convex portions such that they are crushed. In this state, the substrate and the pin-shaped fins are brazed together. The upper and lower end portions of the pin-shaped fins are brazed to the top wall and bottom wall, respectively, of the casing.
