Layered Radiator for Efficient Heat Rejection
A radiator which rejects heat to its surrounding environment through radiation, comprising layers of thermally conductive material in a tapered geometry. As well, a radiator which incorporates structural support to maintain rigidity in the out-of-plane directions for its thermally conductive layers. The radiator is used by incorporating a source of heat to the layers, having a lower temperature in the surrounding environment, and structurally attaching to an assigned location.
Heat Exchange Panel
A heat exchange assembly comprising: (I) two or more panels; (II) a plurality of channels formed between the two or more panels; and (III) one or more reservoirs located adjacent to the plurality of channels and configured to at least temporarily store a temperature control material, wherein the plurality of channels are configured to direct a flow path of the temperature control material between the two or more panels and provide structural rigidity to the assembly.
FLAT TUBE AND HEAT EXCHANGER WITH A FLAT TUBE
A flat tube with a wall made of a shaped first sheet metal strip which forms two fluid chambers, wherein the two fluid chambers are arranged spaced apart from one another and wherein the two fluid chambers are connected spaced apart from one another by a web wherein the flat tube has two tube ends in its tube longitudinal direction, wherein the web has a recess by means of a cutout at at least one tube end.
Heat dissipation unit and heat dissipation device using same
A heat dissipation unit and a heat dissipation device using same are disclosed. The heat dissipation device includes a base and one or more heat dissipation units. The base has a first side and an opposite second side; and the heat dissipation units respectively include at least one radiation fin correspondingly provided on the first side of the base. The radiation fin is formed by correspondingly closing a first plate member and a second plate member to each other, such that a plurality of independent flow channels is defined between the closed first and second plate member. And, the independent flow channels respectively have an amount of working fluid filled therein.
Sealed connection of a connector to a coaxial tubular heat exchanger
A method provides a sealed connection of a connector to a heat exchanger of the coaxial tubular type is particularly suitable for a motor vehicle air-conditioning circuit. The method includes the steps of mounting a free end of an external tube of the exchanger in or on the connector. The external tube is directly secured with the connector, and an internal tube is inserted in the external tube until a free end of the internal tube is mounted in or on the connector. This mounting ensuring a sealing between the internal tube and the connector. The method further includes directly securing the internal and external tubes against one another to avoid relative displacements.
Inlet and Outlet Channels for a Heat Exchanger
This document describes inlet and outlet channels for a heat exchanger that provides a compact profile with consistent cooling performances among heat exchanger plates. For example, a manifold of a cooling system includes an inlet channel and an outlet channel designed to connect to multiple plates of a heat exchanger. The inlet and outlet channels include a junction portion, a connection portion, and a transfer portion. The junction portion includes opposing inclined contact surfaces that are inclined relative to a horizontal plane of the plates and mate with corresponding inclined contact surfaces of the plates. The connection portion accepts coolant hoses. The transfer portion is located between the junction portion and connection portions. The described channels of the manifold are especially useful for automotive applications that generally have tight assembly spaces.
Total heat exchange element and method for manufacturing same
A total heat exchange element includes a plurality of partition members made of a material that contains cellulose as a main component, a spacing member made of a material that contains cellulose as a main component, and an adhesive portion bonding the partition members and the spacing member together. The partition members are configured as flat sheets, and are stacked with a predetermined distance between them. The spacing member is disposed between adjacent ones of the stacked partition members to maintain the distance between them. The total heat exchange element has a first air flow path and a second air flow path alternately formed with one of the partition members interposed between the first and second air flow paths. The adhesive portion contains, as an adhesive component, cellulose having a smaller diameter than both of the cellulose forming the partition members and the cellulose forming the spacing member.
COOLING DEVICE AND POWER CONVERSION DEVICE
A cooling device includes a heat-receiving block, a heat conductor, and first heat pipes. The heat-receiving block has a first main surface to which a heating element is fixed. The heat conductor extends along the first main surface and is fixed to the heat-receiving block. The first heat pipes are arranged in a direction in which the heat conductor extends and are fixed to the heat-receiving block at positions farther from the first main surface than the heat conductor is.
ENTHALPY EXCHANGER
A heat and humidity exchanger comprises panels made up of membrane sheets attached on either side of a separator. Channels extend across each panel between the separator and the membrane sheets. The panels are much stiffer than the membrane sheets. Panels are stacked in a spaced apart relationship to provide an ERV core. Spacing between adjacent panels may be smaller than a thickness of the panels,
HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger includes an outer packaging member. The outer packaging member is configured to allow a heat transfer medium flowed to an inside of the outer packaging member from a heat transfer medium inlet to pass through the inside and flow out from a heat transfer medium outlet. The outer packaging member is made of outer packaging laminate materials each including a metal heat transfer layer and a resin thermal fusion layer provided on one surface of the heat transfer layer. The outer packaging laminate materials are superimposed one on the other. The thermal fusion layers are integrally bonded along peripheral edge portions of the outer packaging laminate materials. The heat transfer layer and the thermal fusion layer of the outer packaging laminate material are laminated via an inner adhesive agent layer made of an acid-modified polyolefin-based adhesive agent containing an acid-modified polyolefin-based resin.
