BRAZING METHOD
A brazing method for brazing a material without using a flux includes performing brazing in an inert gas atmosphere, in a state in which the material to be brazed is covered with a cover member formed of an upper cover portion covering the whole upper portion of the material to be brazed and side cover portions covering at least some of the side portions of the material to be brazed, with the upper cover portion contacting the upper portion of the material to be brazed, and the material to be brazed and the cover member are held with a heat transmission promoting member formed of an upper heat transmission promoting portion and a lower heat transmission promoting portion, with the upper heat transmission promoting portion contacting the upper cover portion, and with the lower heat transmission promoting portion contacting the lower portion of the material to be brazed.
HIGH PRESSURE CAPABLE LIQUID TO REFRIGERANT HEAT EXCHANGER
A liquid to refrigerant heat exchanger includes a coolant volume that is at least partially defined by a plastic housing and by a metal closure plate. The plastic housing is sealingly joined to the closure plate along an outer periphery of the closure plate. The metal closure plate can be part of a brazed assembly that defines a continuous refrigerant flow path through the heat exchanger between a refrigerant inlet port and a refrigerant outlet port.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER AND PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER
A plate heat exchanger has two metal plates brought into abutment, with a solder material between the plates. The plates are heated up to a first temperature. The plates are placed into a mold, the mold surfaces of which have cavities for envisaged channel structures. Channel structures are formed by local internal pressure forming of at least one plate under pressurization by the tool. The plates are heated up to a second temperature. The plates are solder bonded at the abutted surfaces. A plate heat exchanger has two metal plates, wherein channel structures have been formed in at least one plate and the plates are bonded to one another by soldering away from the channel structures. Eutectic microstructures having a longest extent of less than 50 micrometers are formed in the solder layer.
PLATE TYPE HEAT EXCHANGER
A plate type heat exchanger according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a plate package in which a plurality of heat exchange plates is stacked to form a flow path, through which fluid flows, an end plate coupled to an outside of the plate package, and a socket connected to the plate package by passing through the end plate, in which the end plate includes a base which is in contact with the outside of the plate package, a socket hole which is formed through the base and into which the socket is inserted, and a ridge which protrudes outward from an edge of the socket hole of the base.
VAPOR CHAMBER AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME
This disclosure relates to a method for fabricating a vapor chamber. The method includes positioning a capillary structure on a first cover, forming an accommodation space, a flow channel, and a plurality of posts on a first surface of a second cover, covering the first cover with the second cover, positioning the first cover and the second cover such that the plurality of posts are spaced apart from the capillary structure by a distance, and pressure welding the first cover and the second cover so as to form a chamber between the first cover and second cover and a passage connected to the chamber and to pressure weld the plurality of posts with the capillary structure.
HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger is configured to exchange heat between a heat medium and an air. The heat exchanger includes a tube through which the heat medium flows therein, and a fin that is formed by bending a metal plate and that is brazed to a surface of the tube. The fin includes a louver. The surface of the tube defines an introducing groove configured to introduce a brazing material melted at brazing from a connecting portion between the tube and the fin to an other portion.
HEAT EXCHANGERS HAVING BRAZED TUBE-TO-FIN JOINTS AND METHODS OF PRODUCING THE SAME
Heat exchangers and methods of producing thereof having fins with slots formed therethrough, and a continuous tube having parallel tube runs connected by reverse bends to define a serpentine coil that traverses back and forth through the slots formed in the fins. Each fin has surface enhancements and is metallurgically joined to corresponding portions of the tube at the slots with brazed joints therebetween.
Method and system for manufacturing laminated heat exchangers
An automated method of manufacturing a laminated heat exchanger, wherein a plurality of unassembled parts is provided, said parts comprising a plurality of laminate members, the method comprising: identifying the correct laminate member to be stacked using an identification system; stacking the laminate members using a robot to form a stack comprising the laminate members; checking the quality of the stack using a quality checking system; and joining the laminate members of the stack together.
VAPOR CHAMBER
A vapor chamber having a first plate, a second plate and a brazing structure is provided. The first plate has an outer surface and an inner surface. A periphery of the first plate has a sealing edge extending outwardly; a level difference exists between the first plate and the sealing edge. Multiple supporting portions are formed on the inner surface of the first plate. The second plate also has an outer surface and an inner surface spaced apart from the inner surface of the first plate, and the second plate covers the first plate to enclose a chamber. The brazing structure has a sealing portion and a plurality of connecting portions, the sealing portion is fixed between the second plate and the sealing edges of the first plate, and the connecting portions are respectively disposed between the corresponding supporting portions of the first plate and of the second plate.
