A lower receiver assembly of a rifle including a lower receiver having a magazine well formed thereon between a distal end and a proximal end, the lower receiver operable to receive a trigger assembly including a trigger, a hammer, and a firing pin. The lower receiver can include an operating rod retention tab coupled with an upper surface of the receiver and the operating rod retention tab extends above the upper surface and is operable to be received in a groove formed in a receiver of an upper receiver.

A bolt catch lever for a firearm, including receivers and associated elements for receiving the bolt catch lever. In particular, a bolt catch lever comprising an upper lever arm, a lower lever arm, and a center element including a catch which is designed so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis in a lower receiver, where the center element has a recess for optionally receiving a connection section of a second bolt catch lever.

Receiver system for a bolt action firearm, comprising: a receiver comprising a forward end adapted to receive a barrel and a rearward end arranged to receive a breech bolt in a boltway provided in said receiver; a breech bolt adapted to slide linearly in said boltway and to lock to said receiver by rotation when said breech bolt is in a closed position; a buttstock interface block attached at a rearward end of said receiver and adapted to interface with said stock; a trigger mechanism provided in said buttstock interface block and arranged to cooperate with a cocking piece 31 carried by a striker provided in said breech bolt.

A rifle having a receiver alignment system includes an upper receiver and a lower receiver configured to engage with each other in an assembled configuration by aligning and pressing an exterior portion of the upper receiver into an interior portion of the lower receiver. A cavity is defined within the interior portion of the lower receiver configured to receive the upper receiver. A lug positioned on the upper receiver defines an alignment groove formed on a lower surface of the lug. A plunger pin is provided in a hole defined within the interior portion of the lower receiver. The plunger pin is configured to engage with the alignment groove and generate a spring-loaded tension when the upper receiver and the lower receiver are engaged in an assembled configuration.

A rifle having a receiver alignment system includes an upper receiver and a lower receiver configured to engage with each other in an assembled configuration by aligning and pressing an exterior portion of the upper receiver into an interior portion of the lower receiver. A cavity is defined within the interior portion of the lower receiver configured to receive the upper receiver. A lug positioned on the upper receiver defines an alignment groove formed on a lower surface of the lug. A plunger pin is provided in a hole defined within the interior portion of the lower receiver. The plunger pin is configured to engage with the alignment groove and generate a spring-loaded tension when the upper receiver and the lower receiver are engaged in an assembled configuration.

A firearm with a lower receiver and bolt catch. The lower receiver may include a first external wall portion that is on the left side of the firearm and a second external wall portion on the right side of the firearm when a front of the lower receiver is facing forward, the rear of lower receiver is facing rearward, the bottom of the lower receiver is facing downward, and the firearm is in a firing position. The firearm may further include a bolt catch for preventing forward movement of the bolt. The bolt catch may include a first external bolt catch portion that exits the first external wall portion of the receiver on the left side of the firearm and a second external bolt catch portion that exits the second external wall portion of the receiver on the right side of the firearm. The bolt catch may further include an internal bolt catch portion within the lower receiver that connects the first external bolt catch portion and the second external bolt catch portion, wherein at least a first portion of the internal bolt catch portion extends in at least one of a rearward direction towards the rear of the receiver, or a downward direction towards the bottom of the lower receiver.

A firearm with a lower receiver and bolt catch. A device for converting a semiautomatic firearm to a non-semiautomatic firearm. The device includes a bolt stop lever pivotally attachable to a receiver of a firearm, a spring configured to be installed in contact with the bolt stop lever and a firearm receiver such that the spring exerts a force on the bolt stop lever to retain the bolt stop lever in a first position, and, a bolt release mechanism operatively coupleable to the bolt stop lever and configured to pivot the bolt stop lever against the force of the spring into a second position. The bolt release mechanism is operatively decoupled from the bolt stop lever when the bolt stop lever reaches the second position. When in the first position the bolt stop lever restricts motion of a bolt of the firearm, and when in the second position, the bolt stop lever permits motion of the firearm bolt.
