A system for loading BB-shot into an air weapon includes a loader for storing BB-shot having an aperture, a pressure system promoting forced transfer of the BB shot through the aperture, a cartridge with a cylindrical body having axial channels offset by a predetermined angular pitch for housing rows of BB-shot balls, an elastic occluding member for holding the rows of BB-shot balls in the channels, an intermediate cylindrical element having a passage with an inlet communicating with the aperture and an outlet to be longitudinally aligned to one of the channels, a detaching member interacting with the occluding member for locally disabling it at the outlet and allowing a row of BB-shot balls to be transferred into the channel. The cartridge is rotatable about the longitudinal axis relative to the intermediate element for aligning the outlet of the passage with one channel at a time.

Loaders and loader assemblies are provided. A loader that facilitates loading a cartridge into a firearm magazine includes a press member that extends from a first end to a second end. The loader further includes a plunger member that extends generally perpendicularly from the press member to a free end. The free end sized to engage the cartridge when loading the firearm magazine.

A magazine loader for loading ammunitions in magazines is provided, the magazine loader comprising a body including a first plurality of openings for inserting ammunitions in the magazine loader, the first plurality of openings including a first intervening distance therebetween, and a second opening for loading ammunitions in a magazine, when the magazine loader is used in conjunction with the magazine, an adaptor in the body, the ammunitions transiting through the adaptor distancing the ammunitions from the first intervening distance to a second intervening distance different than the first intervening distance of the first plurality of openings, a plurality of channels inside the body for receiving therein ammunitions, when the magazine loader is used in conjunction with a plurality of ammunitions, the plurality of channels being generally spaced apart with the second intervening distance.

A thumb mounted ammunition loader engages a digit, preferably a thumb, of the user's hand to protect the digit while loading ammunition into a magazine. The thumb mounted ammunition loader additionally maintains traction to the pressure applied to the ammunition, as the thumb mounted ammunition loader provides a barrier to depositing skin oil onto the ammunition. The thumb mounted ammunition loader includes a digit-mounting tube, a digit-receiving opening, a distal-closed end, and at least one joint-accommodating aperture. The digit-mounting tube engages the digit. The digit-receiving opening allows the digit to be inserted into the digit-mounting tube. The distal-closed end interfaces with the ammunition as the user applies pressure to the ammunition through the distal-closed end. The at least one joint-accommodating aperture provides flexibility of the thumb mounted ammunition loader for the user to maintain range of motion of the digit.

The present invention is an ammunition magazine, preferably made of a reinforced polymer, utilizing a structurally enhancing ridge, angular guide rails and a follower made to interface with said guide rails to reduce wobble. The preferred embodiment also features a protective cover that distributes forces from the spring to more structurally sound areas of the magazine, thus reducing feed end splay, and an ammunition indication system comprised of at least one window and a noticeable marker on the follower spring. The follower and magazine casing are also designed to interface to prevent the follower from popping out of the feed end and the floor plate of the magazine utilizes a locking plate and sliding relationship between the floor plate, locking plate and magazine to secure the floor plate onto the magazine casing. The cover features built in tools for, among other things, unloading and disassembling the magazine.

The apparatus provides for the rapid loading of ammunition into a magazine used for holding a number of rounds of ammunition. It is comprised of a loader body having a reservoir section, having a magwell section, and a connecting way to receive an ammunition magazine, and having a manner for connecting the magwell section to the reservoir section; an essentially rectangular block which slidably interfaces with the essentially rectangular inner space of the loader body and the rectangular block with an aperture for receiving a plunger handle; and a spring retaining clip to hold the ammunition in the inner space of the loader body. The device loader body can be a single or alternatively a two piece reservoir assembly and can be used as an unloading device as well.
