Firearm apparatus
A firearm apparatus that is operable to provide faster reloading of an ammunition magazine through operable engagement of the trigger, the hammer or the bolt carrier. The firearm apparatus of the present invention includes a magazine that is configured to receive and store a plurality of bullets within the interior volume thereof on an ammunition support member. The ammunition support member is movable intermediate a first and second position and in the second position, an engagement member operably coupled to the ammunition support member is operable to engage the arm member. The arm member is moved to its second position wherein the arm member in its second position inhibits the firing of the firearm and maintains the bolt in a closed position. The arm member can be provided in alternative embodiments so as to operably coupled with the aforementioned elements of the firing assembly.
Intrinsically Safe Firearm
An intrinsically safe firearm may include a handle and a frame connected by a pivot pin. One or more latches of the firearm can temporarily fix the firearm in a stowed orientation or a deployed orientation. In the deployed orientation, a magazine of the firearm can be removed from the handle; a slide of the firearm can be removed from the frame; a magazine safety allows a firing pin to strike a primer of a round in the firearm; and a trigger of the firearm is accessible to discharge the round in the firearm. In the stowed orientation, the magazine is not removable from the handle; the slide is not removable from the frame; the magazine safety prevents the firing pin from striking the primer; and the trigger of the firearm is not accessible.
Bolt Stop Actuator for Use in a Firearm
A bolt stop actuator is disclosed. The actuator may include a lift arm, a first leg extending from a point proximate to an end of the lift bar and generally perpendicular therefrom, a second leg extending in the same direction from the lift bar as the first leg, and a projection extending from the lift bar and configured to contact a follower of an empty magazine when the bolt stop actuator is assembled into a firearm. Neither the first leg, nor the second leg, include apertures positioned distal to the lift arm.

Last round hold open apparatus
A last round hold open (LRHO) apparatus comprising a first lever having a first end and a second end, a mag stop component to which the first lever is pivotally affixed at the second end, a second lever disposed proximate the second end of the first lever, the second lever pivotally affixed to the mag stop, a bolt catch affixed to the mag stop and the second lever, and a magazine release extending from the first end of the first lever.

Lower receiver with last round bolt hold open
An apparatus and method for creating the apparatus that holds a bolt open after a last round is fired from a magazine is disclosed. A lower receiver may include at least two cavities. A transfer bar may be configured to fit into a first cavity of the at least two cavities. A hold down may be configured to fit into a second cavity of the at least two cavities. At least a portion of the hold down may be configured to overlap with at least a portion of the transfer bar to hold the transfer bar in place. The transfer bar, when a final round is fired from a magazine in the lower receiver, may be pushed up by a bump in the magazine to transfer upward movement to the transfer bar that catches a bolt and holds the bolt open until activation of a release button.
