SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INCREASING PERFORMANCE OF SHOOTER AND FIREARM

A system and method for measuring, characterizing, and making recommendations for improving the performance of a shooter and one or more associated firearms. A data collection environment comprises an operator device and a server and data management module configured to receive and transmit one or more data sets over a network. A rig, which may be configured with sensors, may comprise a base assembly, a stock assembly, a grip/trigger assembly, a forend assembly a remote trigger assembly, and a safety lanyard assembly.

Trigger actuator

A device for pulling the trigger of a firearm includes an actuator, a controller in signal communication with the actuator and a switch in communication with the controller. The actuator mounts on the firearm adjacent to the trigger. The actuator has a body movable into engagement with the trigger for pulling the trigger. The body is movable out of engagement with the trigger permitting the trigger to reset. The controller is adapted to transmit first and second commands to the actuator. The first command directs moving the body into engagement with the trigger, and the second command directs moving the body out of engagement with the trigger. The switch is adapted to transmit a first signal to the controller causing the controller to transmit the first command to the actuator, and a second signal to the controller for causing the controller to transmit the second command to the actuator.

Trigger actuator

A device for pulling the trigger of a firearm includes an actuator, a controller in signal communication with the actuator and a switch in communication with the controller. Electromagnetic Pistol Barrel Test Fixture

A test fixture for testing firearms or ammunition includes a base, a block, and a firing pin. The base has a lateral channel defining a front upright and a rear upright. The front upright is configured to support a firearm barrel. The block is rotatable within the lateral channel between an open position and a closed position. The open position provides user access to the firearm barrel. The firing pin is housed in the block. The closed position of the block aligns the firing pin with the firearm barrel.

Electromagnetic Pistol Barrel Test Fixture

A test fixture for testing firearms or ammunition includes a base, a block, and a firing pin. The base has a lateral channel defining a front upright and a rear upright. The front upright is configured to support a firearm barrel. The block is rotatable within the lateral channel between an open position and a closed position. The open position provides user access to the firearm barrel. The firing pin is housed in the block. The closed position of the block aligns the firing pin with the firearm barrel.

TRIGGER AND SAFETY ACTUATING DEVICE AND METHOD THEREFOR

A trigger device that is attachable to a firearm includes a device body, a trigger mechanism, and a safety mechanism. The trigger device is configured to enable remote firing of the firearm. The device body that is attachable to the firearm to removably couple the trigger device to the firearm. The trigger mechanism is coupled with the device body and is configured to engage a trigger of the firearm to effect firing of the firearm. The safety mechanism is also coupled with the device body and is configured to engage a safety of the firearm to adjust the firearm between a firing mode and a safe mode.
