Trigger unit for a firearm
A trigger unit including a support adapted to be mounted on a receiver of a firearm and supporting components of a trigger mechanism and a safety system; the trigger unit is modular; the support includes a plurality of seats adapted to accommodate one or more different functional components in various combinations.
SINGLE-STAGE AND TWO-STAGE TRIGGER MECHANISM FOR A FIREARM
A trigger mechanism has a top sear for engaging a cocking piece, a transfer arm for engaging the top sear, and a safety lever and second stage sear which engages the transfer arm. The safety lever prevents unintentional firing of a firearm with the trigger mechanism. A bottom sear cooperates with the safety lever and the second stage sear. A single stage operation involves both a first stage spring and second stage spring upon trigger load application. In a two-stage operation, the first stage spring is engaged and then the second stage spring is also engaged. A selector pin provides flexibility to alter the mode of operation of the trigger mechanism between single stage trigger operation and a double stage trigger operation.

Adjustable trigger assembly and method of adjusting pre-travel distance
A trigger assembly apparatus for a firearm which allows adjustment of the pre-travel distance a trigger travels before initiating a firing sequence and method of making the pre-travel adjustment using the apparatus disclosed herein. The apparatus generally comprises a trigger and a trigger bow, with the trigger bow having at least one threaded receptacle in a front lateral portion thereof. The pre-travel adjustment can be achieved by rotating a threaded fastener within the threaded receptacle and the method of adjusting the pre-travel can be accomplished without complete disassembly of the firearm.

Trigger device for a buttstock loader
In the case of a trigger device for a buttstock loader including a trigger rod for triggering an impact device of the buttstock loader with a first end of the trigger rod, it is suggested that the trigger device further includes a trigger lever, wherein the trigger rod is at least indirectly connected to the trigger lever by means of a pivot joint, wherein the trigger lever includes a trigger tongue and an extension wherein the pivot joint is arranged substantially between the trigger tongue and the extension, wherein the extension comprises a first abutment surface for at least indirectly abutting against a second abutment surface of the buttstock loader, so that upon actuation of the trigger tongue with a first force the trigger rod moves with a second force, which second force is greater than the first force, in the direction of the first end of the trigger rod.

FAST ACTION SHOCK INVARIANT MAGNETIC ACTUATOR
An electromagnetic actuator includes characteristics of very fast actuation, shock invariant design, and compact size. The actuator may be controlled via a small low voltage power source such as a battery and simple switching logic. Such characteristics are ideally suited for incorporating the actuator into the firing mechanism of a firearm, which are subjected to drop tests to confirm the firearm will not discharge in the absence of trigger pull. Very fast snap-like action is attained by balancing the magnetic forces of two opposing permanent magnets around a stationary yoke and rotating member to create three circulating magnetic flux circuits. A central electromagnet coil amplifies the magnetic flux of one side of the rotating member or the other depending on the power source actuation polarity, thereby creating two possible snap-like actuation positions. The actuator is usable in firing mechanism release or enabling/disabling applications, and interfacing with other type mechanical linkages.

Mechanism for selectively preventing cycling of a semiautomatic handgun
Provided is a mechanism for selectively preventing cycling of a semiautomatic handgun having a frame and a longitudinally reciprocating slide. The device includes a pivotal blocking lever on one of the slice or frame. The blocking lever is selectively movable between a first position that allows the slide to cycle when the handgun is fired and a second position in which a blocking member mechanically bridges between the frame and slide to block cycling movement of the slide when the handgun is fired.
