An assembly includes a mounting bracket that defines one or more mounting bracket holes, one or more fasteners configured to secure the mounting bracket to an archery bow via the one or more mounting bracket holes, and a light source coupled to the mounting bracket and configured to illuminate a distance marker tape of the archery bow. The distance marker tape light assembly can be used to illuminate distance marker tape on a variety of archery bows. The distance marker tape light assembly can be considered a universal distance marker tape light assembly due to the large number of different archery bows on which the distance maker light assembly can be effective.

Bow Grip Aid
20230079443 · 2023-03-16 ·

Shooting accuracy in archery may be greatly improved by increasing the precision and repeatability in which an archer establishes “anchor points,” which are contact points between the archer and a drawn bow and arrow at a moment of launch. One such contact point is the hand gripping the bow grip. The invention provides a bow grip aid which enables an archer to repeatably grip the same location of the bow grip and maintain consistent grip firmness from one shot to the next. Reducing variances of this aspect of the archer's form benefits the archer by reducing variances between the archer's sighting process and determination of point of aim, and the impact point of the arrow on its target. The invention helps archers grip a bow more consistently so they can consistently place each arrow where they want it to go.

BOW

A bow includes a handle and upper and lower limbs. The upper and lower limbs are formed of a laminated fiber-reinforced plastic material. The upper limb has first and second sets of fiber sheets stacked in a direction along a lateral axis. The first set of fiber sheets have fibers aligned at a first angle from a longitudinal axis, and the second set of fiber sheets having fibers aligned at a second angle from the longitudinal axis in an opposite direction. The lower limb has third and fourth sets of fiber sheets stacked in a direction along the lateral axis. The third set of fiber sheets have parallel fibers aligned at a third angle from the longitudinal axis, and the fourth set of fiber sheets having fibers aligned at a fourth angle from the longitudinal axis in an opposite direction. The angles are between 16 and 44 degrees.

ARCHERY BOW CAM SPACER

An archery bow assembly is provided including an open sided spacer which is mountable to an axle on an archery bow and removable therefrom without removing the axle entirely or partially from a limb of the archery bow. The spacer can mount on the axle adjacent a cam rotatable on the axle, and can include an outer perimeter and an axle aperture. A recess can extend inward from the outer perimeter to the axle aperture so that the axle aperture and recess form a continuous opening. The spacer can be of a C-shape or E-shape. A cup spacer having an outer rim can capture the open sided spacer to secure it to the axle, yet still allow removal from the axle without removing the axle from the limb arms adjacent the cam. Related methods also are provided.

In at least one embodiment, an archery bow comprises a riser supporting a first limb and a second limb. The first limb supports a first rotatable member that defines a first axis of rotation. The second limb supports a second rotatable member that defines a second axis of rotation. The first axis of rotation and the second axis of rotation move with respect to one another as the bow is drawn from a brace condition to a drawn condition. The bow defines a reference plane that includes the first axis of rotation and the second axis of rotation, wherein a distance between a predetermined location on the riser and the reference plane is greater in the brace condition than in the drawn condition.

Power assisted bow

A compound bow may feature the ability to pre-store energy before the drawing back of the draw string. Various embodiments contemplate that this may allow an archer to draw back the draw string or cable, and upon reaching the let off region of the compound bow's draw profile, cause the pre-stored energy to be transferred to the energy being stored by the bow. Various embodiments contemplate that this addition of pre-stored energy may give the archer more energy, held in the draw string or cable, to transfer to an arrow upon release, propelling it at greater speeds than would have been achieved with a compound bow of equal draw weight that does not feature an energy storage mechanism. Various embodiments contemplate that a system may provide for a return position of the draw.
