A firearm holster and a method of making the firearm holster is disclosed. The firearm is wholly or partially molded of ballistic material in such a way that a bullet that is discharged into the holster is retained within the holster or deflected so that it doesn't cause damage to the user of the firearm or other persons or property.

A firearm safety lock that includes a rotatable locking member for being moved into a lock position against a trigger guard of the firearm responsive to movement of the firearm into a holster to prevent removal of the firearm from the holster when in the lock position. An electronic circuit is mounted on the holster and operable to cause the locking rotor to move from the lock position into an unlock position responsive to movement of a coded key paired with a code programmed in the electronic circuit into a predetermined proximity to the electronic circuit.

A magazine holster is a unitary body that includes an inner cavity configured to receive a magazine. A firearm holster that is a unitary body that includes an inner cavity configured to receive a firearm. The inner cavity includes a first end and a second end opposite of the first end. The holster includes a first opening into the inner cavity adjacent to the second end of the unitary body and a second opening into the inner cavity adjacent to the second end of the unitary body. The firearm holster includes an internal shoulder positioned within the inner cavity. The unitary body selectively retains a firearm positioned within the inner cavity as a force is applied to the firearm by the internal shoulder. The holster may be an elastomer, a thermoplastic elastomer, ethylene vinyl acetate, rubber, silicon, or a combination thereof. The holster may be comprised of ethyl vinyl acetate.

A handgun holster for use by a wearer comprising a base plate having an outside plate face, a body plate face, and outer edge, a detachable firearm pocket on the plate for receiving a handgun, the pocket further comprising a front side and a back side, a top side wherein the top side has a notch having a radius such that when the handgun having a trigger and a trigger guard is placed in the firearm pocket, the trigger guard is uncovered by the firearm pocket and the trigger is covered by the firearm pocket, at least one accessory holder, wherein the rail is separately detachable from the pocket through a latch connection, and at least one latch connection, the latch connections comprising a rail and latch system, a layer of intermediate foam behind the plate, a layer of elastic foam behind the layer of intermediate foam wherein the layer of elastic foam overlaps the outer edge of the plate.

A pouch for carrying a concealed handgun includes a compartment for rapidly accessing extra ammunition. The bag resembles a normal small bag conventionally worn on a user's belt, but is designed to securely hold a handgun and allow rapid employment of the handgun. A closure system for a boot or other footwear includes a tension member that is disposed within the boot and routed or guided about a path within the boot via one or more guides. The closure system also includes an adjustment member that is disposed within the boot and operably coupled with the tension member. The closure system further includes a reel based closure device having a knob that is operable to tension the tension member and to release tension from the tension member. Tensioning of the tension member adjusts a fit of the adjustment member about a foot within the boot to secure the foot within the boot and loosening of the tension member adjusts the fit of the adjustment member about the foot to allow the foot to be more easily removed from the boot.
