TILLAGE POINT FOR AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT WITH IMPROVED SHANK PROTECTION
A tillage point for an agricultural implement includes a body extending in a lengthwise direction between a tip end and a retention end and in a vertical direction between an upper body surface and a lower body surface, where the body defines a retention slot between the upper and lower body surfaces. Additionally, the tillage point has a fin extending outwardly from the upper body surface in the vertical direction. The fin defines a height in the vertical direction between a base end of the fin positioned adjacent to the upper body surface of the body and a top end of the fin positioned opposite the base end. The fin further defines a lateral width between opposed lateral sides of the fin, where the lateral width of the fin tapers along at least a portion of the vertical height of the fin.
Cultivator which is screwed on the rear face
A cultivator for an agricultural soil processing machine, which includes a base part which has a cutting element on a cutter support. The base part has at least one screw receiving area for securing to a support, in particular a tine of the agricultural soil processing machine. The screw receiving area is designed as a blind hole with an inner thread and is recessed into a cultivator support surface aligned opposite the tool advancing direction of the cultivator, or the screw receiving area is designed as a through-bore with an inner thread and is covered by at least one wear protection element in the tool advancing direction.
Shank assembly for an agricultural implement with improved tillage point retention and related methods
In one aspect, a shank assembly for an agricultural implement may include a shank and a tillage point coupled to a distal end of the shank. The tillage point may include a body having first and second retention walls, with the retention walls being spaced apart such that a retention slot is defined directly between the retention walls. In addition, the first retention wall may define an inner cavity that extends from an inner surface of the first retention wall towards an opposed outer surface of the first retention wall. Moreover, the shank assembly may include a retention collar received within the inner cavity and a retention pin configured to be inserted through aligned openings of the tillage point and the shank, as well as though the retention collar, when the distal end of the shank is received within the retention slot.
Systems and methods for monitoring the installation status of a shank attachment member of an agricultural implement
A system for monitoring an installation status of shank attachment members of agricultural implements may include a shank assembly. The shank assembly may have a shank and at least one mounting element configured to couple the shank to a portion of an agricultural implement. The system may further include a shank attachment member coupled to the shank and a signal transmission device provided in operative association with the shank attachment member. The system may further include an antenna provided in operative association with the shank assembly, where the antenna is configured to receive wireless signals transmitted by the signal transmission device. Additionally, the system may include a controller communicatively coupled to the antenna and configured to determine an installation status of the shank attachment member based at least in part on the wireless signals received by the antenna.
Soil working tool
Soil working tool for an agricultural machine, in particular a cultivator, which is fixed on a tool holder and has a tine-like region to which a preferably guide plate-like element is attached. In order to achieve an improved soil flow across the soil working tool with good wear protection and thus a sufficient service life of the soil working tool, the tine-like region has two side strips which run in the longitudinal direction of the soil working tool and have notch-like recesses extending in the transverse direction, and that an at least approximately smooth center strip region is located between the two side strips in the center in the longitudinal direction of the tine-like region of the soil working tool.
AGRICULTURAL SWEEP WITH WEAR RESISTANT COATING
An agricultural device with a wear resistant coating comprising a shank portion that may be attached to an agricultural implement. First and second rear wings connect to an intermediate portion that connects to the shank portion. First and second shoulders are formed at the points where the rear wings meet the intermediate portion, and a patch of wear resistant coating is applied at each of the first and second shoulders. A first edge tapers forwardly from the first rear wing to a point, and a second edge tapers forwardly from the second rear wing to the point. Wear resistant coating may also be applied to the first and second edges or the point. Wear resistant coating may be applied to the agricultural device in a pattern that is specific to soil type.
EARTH WORKING TOOL ASSEMBLY
Provided is an earth working tool assembly comprising: a tool shank having a leading end portion; an earth working tip having a trailing end portion that is detachably engageable with the leading end portion of the tool shank; and a fastening assembly for detachably fastening the earth working tip to the tool shank. The fastening assembly comprises: a trailing connector that is connectable to the tool shank; a leading connector that is connectable to the earth working tip; a spring mounting mechanism interposed between the trailing and leading connectors. The spring mounting mechanism is configured so that the trailing and leading connectors can be driven away from each other against a bias of the spring mounting mechanism, into and out of an operative condition in which the spring mounting mechanism acts to retain the earth working tip and the tool shank in engagement with each other.
Tool Change System for Ground Cultivating Machines
The disclosure relates to a tool change system for agricultural ground cultivating machines, comprising: a ground cultivation tool, which is designed to be moved through soil for ground cultivation; a tool carrier, on which the ground cultivation tool is arranged; and a locking device; wherein the ground cultivation tool and the tool carrier together form an engagement mechanism, by means of which the ground cultivation tool and the tool carrier can be non-destructively and releasably brought into engagement with one another.
SOIL WORKING TOOL
A soil cultivation tool, in particular a plowshare, includes a base body on which cartridges are optionally arranged and at least first cutting elements that are attached to the base body or the cartridges in order to cut into the earth along a working direction. The first cutting elements are arranged in separate seats.
CONSUMABLE SHIN FOR A TILLAGE SHANK WITH ADJUSTABLE DEPTH FERTILIZER TUBE
A consumable shin for a tillage shank includes an integral U-shaped shin having a first side, a second side, and a bottom; the first side and the second side being spaced apart to form a volume therebetween; the first side having a first side surface having first side length and a first side width; the second side having a second side surface having a second side length and a second side width; the first side length being from a rear edge of a guard of a shoe engaging the tillage shank to a forward edge of a first side shield engaging the tillage shank; the second side length being from the rear edge of the guard of the shoe engaging the tillage shank to a forward edge of a second side shield engaging the tillage shank.
