Deterent for unmanned aerial systems

A system (100) for providing an integrated multi-sensor detection and countermeasure against commercial unmanned aerial systems/vehicles (44) and includes a detecting element (103, 104, 105), a tracking element (103,104, 105) an identification element (103, 104, 105) and an interdiction element (102). The detecting element detects an unmanned aerial vehicle in flight in the region of, or approaching, a property, place, event or very important person. The tracking element determines the exact location of the unmanned aerial vehicle. The identification/classification element utilizing data from the other elements generates the identification and threat assessment of the UAS. The interdiction element, based on automated algorithms can either direct the unmanned aerial vehicle away from the property, place, event or very important person in a non-destructive manner, or can disable the unmanned aerial vehicle in a destructive manner. The interdiction process may be over ridden by intervention by a System Operator/HiL.

A system and corresponding method are presented. The system comprising a primary radar system comprising one or more phased array antenna systems, a sensor arrangement, and a control system. The sensor arrangement comprises one or more sensors configured for collecting sensing data indicative of presence and location of one or more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV's) within a predetermined region, and to provide said sensing data to the control system. The control system comprises at least one processor configured for processing the sensing data, determining a need to deactivate score for the one or more UAV's, and generating operational instructions to the primary radar system for generating deactivation beam directed toward location of said one or more UAV's, thereby deactivating said one or more UAV's.

Directional high-energy radio frequency weapon

Systems, methods and apparatus are described for a HERF weapon that may emit high-energy radio waves at a target based on locational information and a frequency associated with the target. The HERF weapon may receive the frequency and locational information from a sensing system. The HERF weapon may emit a high energy pulse toward the target and on the frequency associated with the target to disable or destroy the target without affecting nearby devices. The HERF weapon may allow the user to avoid detection by using a frequency that corresponds to the target's operating frequency.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR COUNTERING A TARGET WITH CUMULATIVE HIGH-POWER PULSES
20250198731 · 2025-06-19 ·

A control device which has an input and/or a memory for known pulse properties of a high-power pulse, influx properties and dissipation properties of a target to be assumed, determines a pulse train of the high-power pulses that renders a cumulative influx into the target from the incident high-power pulses greater than a cumulative dissipation due to the dissipation properties, such that an excess accumulation would occurs in the target for disrupting or destroying the target. A control signal representing the pulse train is delivered at the output. An irradiation device contains the control device and the pulse source arrangement for generating the pulse train with the high-power pulses. The control signal is generated with the aid of the control device or the irradiation device and the target is irradiated with the pulse train by the irradiation device.

Frequency and waveform agile microwave devices

Implementations of disclosed systems and methods are capable of changing the frequency or other waveform characteristics dynamically based on receiving feedback about the effect of an electromagnetic pulse radiation on a target electronic device. Various implementations can be configured to emit electromagnetic pulses at a single radio frequency or a plurality of radio frequencies. For example, the frequency of the carrier electromagnetic radiation in a single pulse can change during the pulse interval. As another example, a single electromagnetic pulse can comprise a frequency comb with two or more frequencies.
