Controllers and methods for bulk explosive loading systems
Controllers and methods of bulk explosive loading systems are disclosed. A controller of a bulk explosive loading system includes a communication interface configured to communicate with a human-machine interface (HMI). The HMI is configured to execute a software program configured to enable the HMI to receive user inputs from a user. The controller also includes control outputs to output control signals to electrically controllable components. The controller further includes sensor inputs configured to receive sensor signals from sensors configured to monitor the bulk explosive loading system. The controller also includes a processor configured to process recipe information received from the HMI, generate the control signals based on the recipe information to control the electrically controllable components to blend the mixture, process the sensor signals received during blending of the mixture, and transmit blending information to the HMI device. The blending information includes information regarding the blending of the mixture.

Inhibited emulsions for use in blasting in reactive ground or under high temperature conditions
Methods of delivering inhibited emulsions are provided. The methods can include mixing an emulsion with a separate inhibitor solution to form the inhibited emulsion. Inhibitor solutions including water, an inhibitor, and a crystallization point modified are provided. Systems for delivering inhibited emulsions are also provided.

Apparatus and method for blasting
The present invention provides an explosive method that improves on methods currently employed. The present invention provides for a safer, less expensive, and more portable explosive device. The elements of the present invention replace dynamite or similar explosives currently used in avalanche control and bore hole blasting of rock or other solids. The present invention comprises an apparatus and a method providing a much safer alternative employing a highly confined combustion reaction of a flammable vapor, whereas dynamite is a category 1.1 high explosive imbued with all the attendant safety and security concerns. The method of the present invention provides for an improved and safer method of blasting employing a highly confined combustion reaction of a flammable vapor instead of conventional explosives currently used.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING WATER DEPTH AND EXPLOSIVE DEPTH IN BLASTHOLES
An explosive delivery system for dipping and loading a blasthole to determine water depth and explosive depth in blasthole. The explosive delivery system includes a vehicle with a first reservoir configured to store an explosive and a delivery apparatus reel mounted to the vehicle with a delivery apparatus stored on the delivery apparatus reel. The delivery apparatus having a central bore that extends a length of the delivery apparatus from a proximal end to a distal end of the delivery apparatus and an outlet disposed at the distal end. The explosive delivery apparatus is configured to deliver the explosive out of the outlet of the delivery apparatus. The delivery apparatus includes a plurality of level sensors disposed on an outer surface of the delivery apparatus and that are dispersed along the delivery apparatus. Each of the level sensors is configured to determine if it is disposed in water, air, or explosive.

CONTROL MECHANISM OF A VOLUMETRIC DISPENSER FORMING PART OF A GUNPOWDER DOSING DEVICE
A control mechanism of a volumetric dispenser forming part of a gunpowder dosing device, enabling adequate volume control of the gunpowder compartment for easy and accurate dosing of gunpowder. The control mechanism includes a holder with a fastening element attached to the gunpowder compartment and a recess for receiving limiting means, an outer and an inner member, each with a gear section and a synchronising pinion connecting the gear sections. The outer member is coaxially fixed to the head of an adjusting screw. The slide is connected to the adjusting screw. The outer member has a scale and a window for displaying units on a measuring scale. The surface of the outer circumference has shallow grooves which the limiting element engages when the outer member is displaced a fraction of a turn. The inner member has the measuring scale displaying the displacement of the outer member by one complete turn.
INHIBITED OXIDISER OR INHIBITED EXPLOSIVE FOR USE IN REACTIVE GROUND
An apparatus and method for converting uninhibited bulk explosives or oxidiser into inhibited bulk explosives or oxidiser on demand. The apparatus disperses an inhibitor into a stream of bulk explosive/oxidiser during the conveyance between an explosive truck and a blast hole or in preparation of a bulk oxidiser for use in a bulk explosive vehicle.
