20250113754 · 2025-04-10 ·

A system for controlling the operation of an agricultural implement includes a leveling disk gang assembly including a plurality of leveling disk blades configured to rotate relative to the surface of the field. Additionally, the system includes an imaging device configured to generate data indicative of the sizes of soil clods. Furthermore, the system includes an actuator configured to adjust a position of the leveling disk gang assembly. Moreover, the system includes a computing system communicatively coupled to the imaging device. The computing system is configured to determine the sizes of the soil clods based on the data generated by the imaging device and control the operation of the actuator to adjust the position of the leveling disk gang assembly based on the determined sizes of the soil clods.

The invention relates to mechanisms used for propelling various working tools of agricultural machines. The mechanism includes a beam having at least three support surfaces and a platform with a working tool capable of moving along the beam on rollers rotatably mounted on the platform. Moreover, a tooth rack is rigidly attached to the beam with its teeth capable of interacting with a cogwheel mounted on the platform and shaped as a disk with bearings acting as the teeth of the gear. Besides, at least two support surfaces of the beam are oriented at an angle to the horizontal and perpendicular to the direction of rollers travel, with at least three rollers interacting with the support surfaces of the beam. This design enhances the operational reliability of the mechanism under various loads experienced by the working tool during its operation.

PRECISION CULTIVATOR WITH VISION GUIDANCE

A method of navigating an agricultural implement through a field in an operative direction as it is being towed by a tractor. The method comprises providing the implement with a main mounting assembly, which is mountable to the tractor and has a stationary main beam, and a toolbar movably supported on the main beam in a lateral position so as to be shiftable laterally relative to the operative direction to align the toolbar relative to crop rows, the toolbar including row units configured to pass between crop rows; obtaining an image of the field with a camera; segmenting the image to identify one or more of the crop rows extending in the operative direction within a field of vision of the camera; and adjusting the lateral position of the toolbar to maintain the row units between the one or more crop rows while avoiding damage to the crops.

Wing flex assemblies for agricultural implements

A wing flex assembly for a frame system of an agricultural implement that includes inner and outer tubes. The outer tube, to which tools of the implement are attached, is slidingly displaceable along the inner tube as the inner tube is downwardly pivotally displaced with a downward flex of a wing frame. A first tool of a center frame can be separated from an adjacent second tool of the wing frame that is attached to the outer tube by a first distance when the outer tube is at a retracted position, and a second distance when the outer tube is slidingly displaced in response to the downward pivotal displacement of the inner tube, the first distance being about equal to the second distance. The wing flex assembly can also prevent contact between the first and second tools when the inner tube is pivotally displaced in an upward direction.

Disc blade spacing adjustment system

An agricultural implement includes a main frame, a first frame member assembly coupled to the main frame, and a first plurality of discs coupled to the first frame member assembly. The agricultural implement also includes a first linkage assembly coupled to the first frame member assembly. The agricultural implement further includes a first lateral adjustment mechanism coupled to the first frame member assembly and configured to actuate the first linkage assembly to change a first lateral position of the first plurality of discs relative to at least one other plurality of discs coupled to the main frame or relative to a center line of the main frame, the center line being parallel to a direction of travel of the agricultural implement.
