Scroll fluid machine having injection holes through which lubricant is injected to the orbiting bearing
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a scroll fluid machine configured so that, during maintenance, grease can be easily supplied to a bearing regardless of an installation environment, thereby improving work efficiency. The present invention provides a scroll fluid machine characterized by comprising: a stationary scroll obtained by forming a wrap section on an end plate; an orbiting scroll obtained by forming a wrap section on an end plate such that the wrap section faces the wrap section of the stationary scroll; a drive shaft for driving the orbiting scroll; an orbiting bearing for supporting the drive shaft relative to the orbiting scroll; and a plurality of pouring openings for pouring a lubricant into the orbiting bearing from the outside.
Compressor Having Capacity Modulation Assembly
A compressor may include a shell, first and second scrolls, a seal assembly, a modulation control chamber, and a modulation control valve. The first scroll may include a first end plate having a biasing passage extending therethrough. The seal assembly may isolate a discharge pressure region from a suction pressure region. The seal assembly and the first scroll may define an axial biasing chamber therebetween that communicates with the axial biasing chamber and a first pocket between the first and second scrolls. The modulation control chamber may be fluidly coupled with the biasing chamber by a first passage. The modulation control valve may be fluidly coupled with the modulation control chamber by a second passage and movable between a first position allowing communication between the second passage and the suction pressure region and a second position restricting communication between the second passage and the suction pressure region.

Scroll fluid machine including a pair of fixed scrolls and an orbiting scroll
One of a pair of a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll is the scroll including a step portion provided only at a predetermined position along a spiral direction on a blade bottom surface of a spiral wrap, and the other one of the scrolls is the scroll including a step portion provided only at a predetermined position along a spiral direction on a blade tip surface of a spiral wrap. A blade bottom surface of an end plate of the fixed scroll is set as a reference surface for setting a chip gap between both the scrolls. When a wrap height of the spiral wrap of the orbiting scroll is represented by (L) (Lo, Li) and a wrap height of the spiral wrap of the fixed scroll is represented by (lo, li), L (Lo, Li)>1 (lo, li) is satisfied.
Scroll-type machine
A scroll-type displacement machine, e.g. scroll compressor, has fixed and orbiting scrolls and an Oldham ring to prevent relative rotation between scrolls. A drive module positioned between the orbiting scroll and drive shaft incorporates an eccentric drive system and first and second counterweights for dynamic balancing. The motor, motor bearings, and motor shaft (i.e., drive shaft) are packaged as a separate, modular unit (e.g. off-the-shelf motor) that attaches to the compressor frame. The machine is configured as a high-side machine with a low-pressure port at a radial outer portion of the fixed scroll and a high-pressure port or discharge port located in the floor of the orbiting scroll at its axis, with high pressure flow passing over and around the eccentric drive bearing and drive mechanism. The Oldham ring is distributed on a lateral or radial plane of the scroll pair with a portion surrounding a portion of the fixed scroll and another portion surrounding a portion of the orbiting scroll. The ring may be formed as four arcuate members arranged on two levels, to occupy otherwise unused space in the scroll-type machine.
Compact energy cycle construction utilizing some combination of a scroll type expander, pump, and compressor for operating according to a rankine, an organic rankine, heat pump, or combined organic rankine and heat pump cycle
A compact energy cycle construction that utilizes a working fluid in its operation is disclosed having a compact housing of a generally cylindrical form, an orbiting scroll type expander, a central shaft which is driven by the expander, a generator having a rotor and a stator with the central shaft being mounted to the rotor for rotating the rotor relative to the stator, a pump mounted to the central shaft, an evaporator positioned between the expander and the generator and surrounding the central shaft, and the orbiting scroll type expander, the central shaft, the generator, the pump, and the evaporator being housed within the compact housing to form an integrated system operable in accordance with an energy cycle.
Screw type pump or motor
A pump assembly comprising a stator and a rotor having vanes of opposite handed thread arrangements is described. A radial gap is located between the stator vanes and the rotor vanes such that rotation of the rotor causes the stator and rotor to co-operate to provide a system for moving fluid longitudinally between them. The operation of the pump results in a fluid seal being is formed across the radial gap. The described apparatus can also be operated as a motor assembly when a fluid is directed to move longitudinally between the stator and rotor. The presence of the fluid seal results in no deterioration of the pump or motor efficiency, even when the radial gap is significantly greater than normal working clearance values. Furthermore, the presence of the radial gap makes the pump/motor assembly ideal for deployment with high viscosity and/or multiphase fluids.
Scroll-type fluid machine and maintenance method for same
A scroll-type fluid machine and maintenance method for same are provided in order to improve reliability and workability by supplying sufficient grease to necessary parts of an orbiting bearing or auxiliary crank bearing without entailing a complicated operation during maintenance. The scroll-type fluid machine includes a fixed scroll, an orbiting scroll, a casing provided on the outer side of the orbiting scroll in the radial direction, a drive shaft, an orbiting bearing supporting the drive shaft with respect to the orbiting scroll, and a piping supplying a lubricant to the orbiting bearing. The orbiting scroll is provided with a boss plate that is attached to the drive shaft, the piping is provided in the boss plate, and the tip of the piping faces toward an opening provided between the casing and the fixed scroll or toward an opening provided in the fixed scroll or the casing.
