Vane with spoiler
Relates to a vane for a turbomachine. The vane (12) has a blade (13) and a root (18) to be engaged in an axial groove in a disc of the turbomachine. The upstream end (450) of the root is connected to a radially internal end (430) of the leading edge (431) of the blade by the upstream end of a connecting zone having a discontinuity towards the downstream end, so that said radially internal end of the leading edge of the blade is situated further downstream than the upstream end of the root.
Low profile fan platform attachment
A platform for a fan of a gas turbine engine includes a body portion, a forward flange at a front of the body portion that includes an engagement feature that interacts with a forward flange of a lug of a hub of a fan of a gas turbine engine, and a pin integral with a rear portion of the body portion. The pin is receivable in an aperture in a rear flange of the lug.
Rotary assembly of a turbomachine equipped with an axial retention system of a blade
A turbomachine rotary assembly includes a plurality of blades having roots positioned in the grooves of a rotor disk and an axial retention system of the blades. The axial retention system includes a removable lock mounted bearing against the upstream axial ends of two consecutive teeth of the disk so as to block the opening of the groove formed by the teeth. It includes removable parts suitable for being mounted at the upstream axial ends of the teeth and to block the lock by clamping the lock between the removable parts and the teeth once the lock is installed against the upstream axial ends of the teeth.
BLADE RETAINER FOR GAS TURBINE ENGINE
A blade retainer adapted for use in a gas turbine engine is configured to block axial movement of a blade. The blade retainer includes a first brace, a second brace, and a web that extends between the first brace and the second brace.
Combined balance weight and anti-rotation key
Bayonet connection key includes upper and lower blocks shaped to be inserted one at a time into a key space, having laterally spaced apart upper and lower flat first and second side contact surfaces, and means for retaining blocks against each other. Bolt or screw may be disposed through an aperture in retaining plate and screwed into threaded hole in upper block pressing retaining plate against lower block. Upper block may include axially spaced apart upwardly extending forward and aft lugs, aft lug shorter than forward lug, and inwardly extending upper stop lug at aft end of upper block. Alternatively bendable tab extending axially forward from a front end of the lower block may be bent up contacting upper block for retaining blocks in key space. Upper block may include forward and aft lugs of same radial length and inwardly extending stop lug at aft end of lower block.
Turbine disk
A turbine rotor disk for a gas turbine engine includes a disk rotationally disposed about a central axis. The disk includes a bore, a rim and a web disposed radially between the bore and the rim. The rim includes a first radially outermost rim portion and a second radially outermost rim portion disposed radially inward of the first radially outermost rim portion. First and second blade posts are disposed proximate the first radially outermost rim portion and spaced circumferentially. First and second tabs are disposed proximate the second radially outermost rim portion and positioned radially inward of the first and second blade posts. A slot is disposed circumferentially between the first tab and the second tab. The first tab and the second tab have an axial profile that includes a blade post transition portion, a slope portion radially inward of the blade transition portion and a face portion radially inward of the slope portion.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SUBASSEMBLY HAVING FORM-FITTING CONNECTION AND SUBASSEMBLY HAVING FORM-FITTING CONNECTION WITH PRECIPITATION-HARDENED FORM-FITTING REGION
The present invention relates to a method for producing a subassembly having a form-fitting connection with a precipitation-hardened form-fitting region as well as a corresponding subassembly, wherein at least two components of a subassembly are provided that are connected together in form-fitting manner, wherein each of the components has a form-fitting region that can come in contact with at least one other form-fitting region of the other component to be connected, in order to produce a form-fitting connection by limiting at least one degree of freedom of movement of the connected components relative to one another, wherein at least one of the components has at least one deformation form-fitting region for providing the form-fitting connection that is reshaped for producing the form-fitting connection after arranging the components to be connected relative to one another, in order to produce the form-fitting connection.
Turbomachine including a rotor connected to a plurality of blades having an arm and a seal
A turbomachine having an engine centerline and a first rotor. The first rotor having a first annular drum and being connected to a first plurality of blades. At least one blade of the first plurality of blades having a blade root, a blade tip, a first arm, a second arm and a first seal. The first arm extending from the blade root and having a radial retention hook. The second arm extending from the blade tip.
FAN INCLUDING A PLATFORM AND A LOCKING BOLT
A fan includes: a fan disc; an inter-blade platform including a base and a radial tab, a second orifice being formed in the tab of the platform; and a lock having a downstream edge configured to bear against the tab of the platform. The one among the downstream edge and the yoke of the fan disc includes a pin, the other includes a first orifice, the pin being configured to enter the first orifice and the second orifice so as to block the platform relative to the fan disc.
Intermediate element for a blade/rotor disc connection in a rotor of a turbomachine, associated rotor for a turbomachine, and turbomachine
An intermediate element is for a blade/rotor disk connection in a rotor of a fluid flow machine. The intermediate element is adapted to a shape of a blade root of a blade and to a blade root slot in a rotor disk for receiving the blade root such that, when arranged between the blade root and rotor disk, the intermediate element prevents contact between the blade root and rotor disk. The intermediate element has, on an outer surface that faces the rotor disk, at least one protrusion to reduce an air flow parallel to an axis of rotation of the rotor between the rotor disk and the intermediate element; and on an inner surface that faces the blade root, a recess that corresponds to the at least one protrusion.
