Rotor with sealing element and ring seal
A sealing element and a rotor of a gas turbine having at least one rotor disc and having an annular rotor component arranged adjacently to the rotor disc and having a plurality of sealing elements arranged distributed around the circumference. The sealing elements are fastened to the rotor disc at least in the axial direction. An inner edge portion of each of the sealing elements is adjacent to a sealing portion of the rotor component. In order to provide a seal between the sealing element and rotor component whilst at the same time enabling a relative axial displacement, a ring seal is arranged in a receiving space formed by the sealing element and rotor component.
Rotor with centrifugally optimized contact faces
A rotor for a gas turbine having a rotor disk on which there are a plurality of rotor components distributed around the circumference. The rotor disk has a circumferential securing shoulder with a contact face. Retaining faces come to bear against the contact face, each of the retaining faces have a retaining shoulder of the respective rotor component and are designed with a form that complements the contact face. In order to optimize the bearing stresses between the retaining shoulder and the securing shoulder, the retaining face has a smaller radius than the contact face, namely the retaining radius is at least 0.99 times and at most 0.995 times the contact radius. Also provided is an axially extending aperture in the rotor component, the width of which in the circumferential direction is 25% to 75% of the rotor component width in the circumferential direction.
Turbmachine fan disc
A disc able to support platforms and blades of a fan, and including an external surface having a succession of grooves for receiving the fan blades and teeth interposed between the grooves to support the fan platforms, an upstream face of the disc, and a plurality of radial protrusions disposed radially around the axis of the disc on the upstream face of the disc, and able to be fastened to a fan platform retaining flange, the protrusions being offset radially toward the interior of the disc relative to the grooves of the disc, and being disposed circumferentially between two teeth of the disc.
Turbine engine rotor lock
A turbine engine rotor lock, in particular for a turbojet fan, adapted to retain a blade axially relative to a disk of the rotor, the lock including a composite body including a woven fiber structure embedded in a matrix; and a damper pad made of elastomer and fastened to the composite body.
Turbine shroud assembly with multi-piece support for ceramic matrix composite material seal segments
An assembly adapted for use in a gas turbine engine or other engine has a carrier component and a blade track segment. The assembly includes a mounting system for coupling the blade track segment to the carrier component. In an illustrative embodiment, the assembly is a turbine shroud segment for blocking gasses from passing over turbine blades included in the gas turbine engine.
FASTENING ASSEMBLY FOR A TURBOMACHINE BLADE
The invention relates to an assembly for a turbine engine blade, the assembly comprising a fastener (9) defining a well (10) for receiving a blade root (7), and a clamping device (32) for clamping the blade root (7) against the fastener (9) when the blade root (7) is received in the well (10), wherein the clamping device (32) comprises: at least one clamping member (34; 36) suitable for bearing simultaneously on the blade root (7) and on the fastener (9) in the well (10) so as to exert a clamping force on the blade root (7), the clamping member (34; 36) defining a threaded hole, and a resilient layer (44) arranged to bear in the well on the blade root, a rod (38) comprising a thread engaging with the threaded hole so that a rotation of the rod (38) with respect to the clamping member causes a variation in the clamping force exerted by the clamping member on the root.
ROTARY MACHINE, GAS TURBINE INCLUDING SAME, AND ROTARY MACHINE ASSEMBLY METHOD
A rotary machine is provided. The rotary machine includes a rotor disk including a plurality of slots, a plurality of blades mounted on an outer circumferential surface of the rotor disk, each of the blades having a root part inserted into an associated one of the slots, and a retainer restraining axial movement of the plurality of blades, wherein the retainer includes an inner fixing member inserted into a bottom of the slot, an outer fixing member inserted into a lower surface of the root part to abut against the inner fixing member, and a spacer inserted between the outer fixing member and the bottom of the slot to prevent the outer fixing member from being separated.
Turbine nozzle airfoil profile
A turbine nozzle includes an airfoil shape. The airfoil shape may have a nominal profile substantially in accordance with Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z set forth in Table I. The Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z are non-dimensional values from 0% to 100% convertible to dimensional distances in inches by multiplying the Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z by a height of the airfoil in inches. The X and Y values, when connected by smooth continuing arcs, define airfoil profile sections at each distance Z. The airfoil profile sections at Z distances may be joined smoothly with one another to form a complete airfoil shape.
Turbine Wheel and Wire Retention Pin Fixation Method for Turbine Wheel
A turbine wheel that retains a fixation wire to inhibit the movement of turbine rotor blades along mating grooves includes: multiple tab sections that form housing sections that house part of the fixation wire; and a wire retention pin to retain the fixation wire in the housing sections. The tab section has a pin slot extending from the radially inner end toward the radially outward side. The wire retention pin has a first pin section having a width smaller than the pin slot and a second pin section having a width larger than the pin slot. The first pin section has multiple divided pieces. The wire retention pin is arranged such that the first pin section is positioned in the pin slot and the second pin section is positioned in the housing section, and is fixed to the tab section with the divided pieces bent outward.
Method for disassembling/assembling gas turbine, seal plate assembly, and gas turbine rotor
A method for disassembling/assembling a gas turbine including a seal plate disposed on a first side of a rotor disc in an axial direction of the rotor disc, and a seal plate restraint part for restricting movement of the seal plate relative to the rotor disc in a radial direction of the rotor disc includes a seal-plate-restraint-state switching step of operating the seal plate restraint part from a second side in the axial direction to switch between a seal plate non-restraint state where the seal plate restraint part does not restrict movement of the seal plate in the radial direction and a seal plate restraint state where at least a part of the seal plate restraint part protrudes toward the second side in the axial direction from the seal plate and thereby restricts movement of the seal plate in the radial direction.
