CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE VALVE LIFT SYSTEM AND AUTOMOBILE
A continuously variable valve lift system includes a driving swing arm, a camshaft, a valve structure, a control shaft and an adjusting swing arm. The valve structure includes a roller rocker arm and a valve connected to the roller rocker arm. The driving swing arm has a driving arc surface. The driving arc surface contacts with the roller rocker arm to drive the valve to perform a reciprocating movement. The driving swing arm is sleeved on the control shaft and is capable of swinging around the control shaft. The control shaft is provided with a mounting part. The adjusting swing arm is connected to the mounting part and is capable of swinging relative to the mounting part. The adjusting swing arm is disposed between the camshaft and the driving swing arm. Two sides of the adjusting swing arm are contacted respectively with the camshaft and the driving swing arm.
Variable valve mechanism of internal combustion engine
A variable valve mechanism includes a variable arm including a first arm and a second arm. The second arm is pivotally supported so as to be swingable by a support shaft. A position of the support shaft is a position where, during a base circle phase, in side view, a second segment connecting an axis of a roller to an axis of the support shaft is longer than a first segment connecting the axis of the roller to an axis of a camshaft, and an angle of the second segment formed with respect to a third segment connecting the axis of the roller to a swing axis of a roller arm is 60 to 120 toward the camshaft. The second arm extends from the support shaft such that a distal end portion of the second arm protrudes in between a cam and the roller.
CONTINUOUS VARIABLE VALVE LIFT SYSTEM AND CAR
A continuously variable valve lift system includes a driving swing arm, a camshaft, a valve structure, a middle shaft, an adjusting member and an adjusting swing arm. The driving swing arm, the adjusting member and the adjusting swing arm are sleeved on the middle shaft and are respectively capable of swinging around the middle shaft. The first connecting part, the second connecting part and the third connecting part are arranged sequentially along a circumferential direction of the middle shaft. The second connecting part is located between the first connecting part and the third connecting part, and two sides of the second connecting part abut against the first connecting part and the third connecting part, respectively. The second connecting part abuts against the third connecting part to form a spiral surface therebetween. The adjusting member is further capable of sliding along an axial direction of the middle shaft.
Lift regulator for a variable lift valve gear with two working positions
A lift regulator for a variable lift valve gear has a cam contour arranged around an axis of rotation of the lift regulator for deflecting a lift adjustment of the valve gear on rotation of the lift regulator about the axis of rotation. The cam contour has a region deflecting from a resting position, a changeover region, and a region deflecting back to the resting position. A variable lift valve gear and a method for operating the variable lift valve gear are disclosed.
Control Shaft for Inlet Valve Shut-Off
A control shaft of a cam shaft adjustment unit has axially spaced adjustment cams, which are designed in a first axial section of the control shaft for a continuous operation of a cylinder and in a second axial section for a cylinder shut-off. The adjustment cams for the continuous operation of a cylinder have, over the entire circumference of the cam circle, a radial extension which is greater than a zero stroke extension and the adjustment cams for the cylinder shut-off have, around their circumference, a shut-off section of the cam circle with a radial extension which is less than or equal to the zero stroke extension. The control shaft has a stop that reduces the rotation in both circumferential directions and functions as the calibration point for an engine electronics system.
Variable-lift valve train having at least two working positions
A variable-lift valve train for a gas exchange valve of an internal combustion engine includes a lift adjuster, a lift actuator, and a lift lever. The lift adjuster has a working curve that is arrangeable at least in a first working position for setting a partial lift and in a second working position for setting a maximum lift. The working curve has a lift region and a base circle region. The lift actuator, which has an actuating contour configured to deflect the lift adjuster. The lift lever, which is deflectable via the working curve and thereby actuates a lift of the gas exchange valve. The valve train is configured to, in the first working position and in the second working position, actuate the gas exchange valve with an at least substantially equal maximum valve acceleration.
