SEED BOOT ASSEMBLY
A seed boot assembly for a seeding machine includes a seed boot, a boot liner and a seed tube adapter. The seed boot has a seed passage extending from an inlet to an outlet. The boot liner extends within the seed passage between the inlet and the outlet. A seed tube adapter is coupled to the seed boot and/or the boot liner.
Implements and application units having a trench closer for closing of a trench during applications with respect to agricultural plants of agricultural fields
Implements and application units include a trench closer for closing a trench during applications with respect to agricultural plants of agricultural fields. In one embodiment, a trench closer for a fertilizer applicator includes a bar moved through a field transverse to a direction of travel, a fertilizer applicator connected to the bar for forming a trench in soil. The fertilizer applicator comprises a coulter, a knife, or a coulter and a knife, and a trench closer disposed behind the fertilizer applicator in the direction of travel and connected to the fertilizer applicator or the bar.
Systems, methods, and apparatus for agricultural material application
An agricultural toolbar having: a frame; a wheel mounted to the frame and disposed to be on one side of a trench opened by a furrow opening assembly, wherein the wheel has a channel disposed from the outer circumference and radially inward toward the center of the wheel and disposed to at least partially accept a fluid injector at least partially within the channel; and wherein the fluid injector is disposed behind the wheel.
Agricultural trench depth sensing systems, methods, and apparatus
An agricultural trench depth sensing system and method includes a light source (2002), a receiver (2003) and a sensor (2004). The light source directs light downwardly toward a trench previously opened in a soil surface. The receiver is disposed at an angle relative to the light source to receive reflected light. A sensor connected to the receiver senses a pattern of the reflected light. A monitoring system in communication with the sensor, generates a data frame containing triangulated line coordinates and intensity values of the reflected light indicative of a measured depth of the trench. The generated data frame may be associated with GPS coordinates for generating spatial maps and may be used to control operating parameters. The generated data frames may also identify relative soil moisture versus trench depth, or presence of dry topsoil or residue in the trench, or to identify seeds, seed spacing and seed depth.
AGRICULTURAL TRENCH DEPTH SENSING SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUS
A mobile agricultural machine includes a row unit having a furrow opener mounted to the row unit and configured to engage a surface of ground over which the mobile agricultural machine travels to open a furrow in the ground. A furrow closer is mounted to the row unit behind the furrow opener and configured to engage the surface of the ground to close the furrow. A furrow sensor system is mounted to the row unit and configured to sense characteristics relative to the furrow opened by the furrow opener and generate a sensor signal indicative of the characteristics. The mobile agricultural machine can further include a control system configured to determine a furrow quality metric corresponding to the furrow sensed by the furrow sensor system based on the sensor signal and generate an action signal to control an action of the mobile agricultural machine based on the furrow quality metric.
AGRICULTURAL LIQUID INJECTION SYSTEM
An agricultural implement includes a ground engaging tool. The agricultural implement also includes a liquid injection system having a liquid injection conduit and a liquid injection outlet passage. The liquid injection outlet passage is fluidly coupled to the liquid injection conduit. The liquid injection outlet passage is configured to output a jet of a liquid toward soil to inject the liquid into the soil at a liquid location behind the ground engaging tool relative to a direction of travel of the agricultural implement. The agricultural implement also includes an anhydrous ammonia application system having an anhydrous ammonia application conduit and an anhydrous ammonia application outlet passage. The anhydrous ammonia application outlet passage is fluidly coupled to the anhydrous ammonia application conduit. The anhydrous ammonia application outlet passage is configured to apply the anhydrous ammonia to the soil at an anhydrous ammonia location behind the ground engaging tool relative to the direction of travel of the agricultural implement.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUS FOR AGRICULTURAL LIQUID APPLICATION
Systems, methods and apparatus for monitoring soil properties and applying fertilizer during a planting operation. Various sensors are disposed in ground engaging components for monitoring soil properties. The ground engaging components may have structure for opening a side trench in the sidewalls of the seed trench and may include liquid application conduits for injecting liquid into the sidewalls of the resulting side trenches.
TRASH DEFLECTOR
An attachment assembly for the disc of a mobile agricultural device, including a washer configured to attach to a disc of the mobile agricultural device. The washer may be attached to a center location of the disc. The washer is operatively connected to a deflector bar. The deflector bar substantially prevents debris from accumulating between the disc and a fertilizer assembly attached to the disc, as the disc rotates. The deflector bar in other embodiments, may be directly connected to a fertilizer assembly, rather than to the washer.
Seed planter with equalizer assembly
A bracket for use with an agriculture planter including a trailing arm frame defining a pivot point thereon may include an arm bracket assembly with first and second arms. Each arm may extend from a middle portion of the bracket. First and second implements may be rotatably mounted on mounting ends of two of the arms. The middle portion of the bracket may be pivotally coupled to the trailing arm frame at the pivot point.
VALVE ASSEMBLY INCLUDING TRAVELER WITH SLOTTED PLUNGER AND AGRICULTURAL FLUID APPLICATION SYSTEMS INCLUDING SAME
A valve assembly includes a housing assembly defining a valve seat, an inlet, an outlet, a flow path, and an aperture located between the inlet and the valve seat. The housing assembly includes a valve body and a valve cap. A traveler is positioned within a first chamber of the valve body and is movable between a first position, in which it engages the valve seat, and a second, displaced position. The traveler includes a plunger that is received within the aperture and slides within the aperture as the traveler moves between the first position and the second position, the plunger defining at least one slot that permits fluid flow therethrough when the traveler is displaced from the valve seat.
