Grounds maintenance vehicle with removable control tower skin
Various embodiments of a grounds maintenance vehicle are disclosed. The vehicle includes a frame and a control tower disposed at or near a rear end of the frame. The control tower includes a support structure that defines an interior space of the control tower and a nonplanar removable skin connected to the support structure. The removable skin includes a front side disposed over a front side of the support structure and a lateral side disposed over at least one of a left side or a right side of the support structure. A portion of at least one of the front side or lateral side of the removable skin is disposed above an uppermost surface of the prime mover. Further, the removable skin is adapted to be at least partially removed from the support structure to facilitate additional access to the interior space of the control tower.
Removably attachable adjustable cutting apparatus and method
A removably attachable adjustable cutting apparatus and method includes a cutting deck, a mounting plate, a main pivot point in the mounting plate and a main adjustable arm with a first end connected with the mounting plate at the main pivot point and with a second end connected with the cutting deck such that the cutting deck is adjustable from a horizontal to a vertical position and positions in between.
BOOM WORKING DEVICE, SELF-PROPELLED WORKING MACHINE WITH SUCH A BOOM WORKING TOOL AND METHOD FOR DETECTING THE LOADS ACTING ON THE BOOM
In order to require as few load measuring units (50) as possible and yet always know the loads acting on the boom (3, 4) independently of the working head (2) currently attached to the boom (3, 4), the load measuring unit (50), in particular only one, is either on or in the boom (3, 4), in particular fixed, or between arm end (18a) of the boom and the head end (18b) of the working head (2) facing it.
Implement drive system and grounds maintenance vehicle incorporating same
Various embodiments of a grounds maintenance vehicle are described herein. The vehicle includes a frame and an implement connected to the frame. The implement includes a housing, a first spindle pulley, and a second spindle pulley. The vehicle further includes a power system having a prime mover and an implement drive system. The implement drive system includes a drive pulley connected to the prime mover, an idler pulley, and an endless belt engaging the drive pulley, the idler pulley, the first spindle pulley, and the second spindle pulley. A first longitudinal distance between an idler pulley axis and a drive pulley axis is greater than a second longitudinal distance between a first spindle pulley axis and the drive pulley axis and a third longitudinal distance between a second spindle pulley axis and the drive pulley axis.
Carrier assembly
A carrier assembly for an operating unit of an agricultural machine includes a carrier arm, a suspension system for suspending an operating unit from the carrier arm and a mounting structure for mounting the carrier arm on a carrier vehicle. A pivot mechanism enables pivoting movement of the carrier arm relative to the mounting structure, and a first actuator drives pivoting movement of the carrier arm between a working position and a transport position. The carrier assembly includes a releasable locking mechanism for locking the carrier arm in the transport position. The locking mechanism includes a first locking element carried by the mounting structure and a second locking element carried by the carrier arm, which is engageable with the first locking element when the carrier arm is in the transport position.
THREE-POINT HITCH MOUNT SYSTEMS
Three-point hitch mount systems for connecting an implement to a tow vehicle having two lower hitch arms and an upper link arm are disclosed. The hitch mount systems may include a lift bar configured to be attached to the two hitch arms of the tow vehicle. The hitch mount systems may include a yoke assembly. The yoke assembly includes a forward-facing slot and a downward-facing slot for removably receiving the lift bar.
EQUIPMENT FRAME FOR A RIDING LAWN CARE VEHICLE
A riding lawn care vehicle may include a frame to which a mobility assembly is operably coupled, an equipment frame operably coupled to the frame forward of the mobility assembly, a steering assembly operably coupled to the mobility assembly to enable an operator seated on the riding lawn care vehicle to provide steering control of the riding lawn care vehicle, a removable cutting in deck and a belt positioning system.
