An exhaust manifold may include first to fourth exhaust pipes respectively connected to first to fourth cylinders which is sequentially disposed in an engine, the exhaust manifold may include a first exhaust manifold including the second exhaust pipe connected to the second cylinder and the third exhaust pipe connected to the third cylinder; a second exhaust manifold including the first exhaust pipe connected to the first cylinder, the fourth exhaust pipe connected to the fourth cylinder and the first exhaust pipe, and a recirculation valve apparatus mounted in the first exhaust pipe; wherein the second exhaust pipe and the third exhaust pipe are directly connected to a converter housing for mounting a catalytic converter in which purifies exhaust gas, and wherein the fourth exhaust pipe is connected to the first exhaust pipe at upstream of the recirculation valve, and the first exhaust pipe is directly connected to the converter housing.
Throttle valve device
A throttle valve device includes a body, a valve, a motor, a speed reducer, and a cover. The body that defines a passage and a motor space therein. The motor includes a motor yoke, a magnet, a motor shaft, a pair of motor bearings, an armature core, a commutator, a brush, and a brush holder. The motor yoke is made of a magnetic material. The brush holder holds the brush. The motor yoke has an open end that is covered by the brush holder.
Throttle valve device
A throttle valve device includes a body, a valve, a valve gear, a motor, an intermediate gear, an intermediate shaft and a cover. A guiding hole is formed in the cover and the intermediate shaft engages the guiding hole. A positioning reference pin is formed in one of the cover and the body at a position around the motor. A positioning reference hole is formed in the other of the cover and the body at a position around the motor. The body and the cover are positioned with respect to each other by both engaging between the intermediate shaft and the guiding hole and engaging between the positioning reference pin and the positioning reference hole. The body and the cover are fixed to each other by a fixing member.
VALVE FOR CONTROLLING EXHAUST GAS OR FRESH AIR IN A DRIVE UNIT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE OR OF A GENERATOR
A valve of a drive unit of a motor vehicle, having a valve housing that is thermally decoupled from a motor housing. Components of an electric-motor drive and of a transmission that are arranged in the motor housing are thus protected against thermal loads. The valve can be manufactured inexpensively and has a particularly small installation space.
Charge forming device with electrically actuated vapor separator vent valve
In at least some implementations, a charge forming device for a combustion engine includes a housing, a throttle valve and a vent valve. The housing has an inlet chamber in which a supply of fuel is received, a vent passage communicating with the inlet chamber and a throttle bore with an inlet through which air is received. The throttle valve is carried by the housing and has a valve head movable relative to the throttle bore to control fluid flow through the throttle bore. And the vent valve is electrically actuated, carried by the housing and has a valve element that is movable between an open position wherein fluid may flow from the inlet chamber through the vent passage and a closed position where fluid is prevented or inhibited from flowing out of the inlet chamber through the vent passage.
THROTTLE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THROTTLE DEVICE
A valve gear includes a gear portion configured to rotate by drive torque transmitted from an actuator, a boss portion provided on the gear portion and having a cylindrical outer wall, and one or more extension portions extending in an axial direction from the gear portion on a radial outer side of the boss portion. A coiled spring including a first hook provided at end portion on a gear portion side, and a second hook provided at end portion on an opposite side to the gear portion so that the first hook and the second hook are respectively locked to each other on opposite sides in a circumferential direction of the extension portion. A valve gear subassembly formed by assembling the valve gear and the spring is housed in a valve gear accommodating chamber of the body, and the second hook of the spring is locked to the body.
VALVE HOUSING, EXHAUST-GAS VALVE, EXHAUST SYSTEM, VEHICLE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING AN EXHAUST-GAS VALVE
A valve housing for an exhaust-gas valve includes a first housing half-shell and a second housing half-shell, wherein the first housing half-shell and the second housing half-shell complement each other to form the valve housing. A first valve seat for a valve flap assembly and a swivel bearing mount to swivel mount the valve flap assembly are formed exclusively on the first housing half-shell. Furthermore, an exhaust-gas valve having such a valve housing and an exhaust system having such an exhaust-gas valve are presented. A vehicle having such an exhaust system is also presented. In addition, a method of manufacturing an exhaust-gas valve is explained.
ELECTRIC ACTUATOR, ASSEMBLY, EXHAUST LINE AND VEHICLE COMPRISING SAID ACTUATOR
An electric actuator comprises a motor and a plate, wherein the motor has an electric contact in electrical contact with the plate. An intermediate shaft is in contact with the plate. A controller is fixed to an upper part of the actuator. The controller has an electrical output electrically communicating with the electric contact of the motor through the intermediate shaft and the plate.
Method to manufacture a throttle valve for an internal combustion engine provided with a conditioning circuit
A method to manufacture a throttle valve for an internal combustion engine comprising a valve body having a seat and a tube for the passage of conditioning fluid; an actuating device, which controls the rotation of a throttle plate; and a substantially uniform layer of a structural and heat-conducting resin interposed between the seat and the tube and applied on the entire available surface of the seat; the method comprising the steps of manufacturing the valve body provided with the seat by causing a first metal material to undergo a die casting process; applying a trace of the structural and thermosetting resin on the bottom of the seat; and inserting the tube into the seat so as to obtain a substantially uniform layer of the structural and thermosetting resin, which is interposed between the seat and the tube.
Low pressure fuel injection system for a multi-cylinder light-duty internal combustion engine
In at least some implementations, a throttle body assembly includes a body that has multiple throttle bores, multiple throttle valve heads received one in each of the throttle bores, at least one throttle valve shaft to which the throttle valve heads are coupled, and at least one of a fuel metering valve and a vapor separator carried by the body.
