Telescoping rotatable tool
A telescoping rotatable tool includes a first shaft and a second shaft. The first shaft has a first material-engaging element extending from an exterior surface of the first shaft. The second shaft has a second material-engaging element extending from an exterior surface of the second shaft. The second shaft is configured to extend from and retract within an interior space presented by the first shaft. The first shaft includes at least one helical-shaped groove extending along an interior surface of the first shaft. The second shaft includes at least one guide element extending from the exterior surface of the second shaft. The guide element is configured to engage with the groove, such that as the second shaft extends from and retracts within the first shaft, the second shaft is configured to rotate with respect to the first shaft.
SYSTEM FOR COORDINATING CONTROL OF MULTIPLE WORK VEHICLES
A control system includes a controller configured to determine a target speed between a first target position of a haul vehicle relative to a harvester and a second target position of the haul vehicle relative to the harvester based on a flow rate of agricultural product through a conveyor of the harvester. The haul vehicle is coupled to a storage compartment, an outlet of the conveyor is aligned with a first unloading point within the storage compartment while the haul vehicle is positioned at the first target position, and the outlet of the conveyor is aligned with a second unloading point within the storage compartment while the haul vehicle is positioned at the second target position. Furthermore, the controller is configured to output a control signal indicative of instructions to direct the haul vehicle from the first target position to the second target position at the target speed.
SUGARCANE HARVESTER BILLET DISCHARGE CONTROL
A sugarcane harvester may include a base cutter configured to cut sugarcane, a chopping device in communication with the base cutter to receive the sugarcane cut by the base cutter, the chopping device configured to chop the cut sugarcane into billets, an elevator in communication with the chopping device, the elevator configured to transport the billets out of the sugarcane harvester, the elevator having a discharge end, a forward billet deflector beyond the discharge end of the elevator distant the discharge end, a rearward billet deflector proximate the discharge end and spaced from the forward billet deflector such that the billets fall between the forward billet deflector and the rearward billet deflector and a powered actuator to move the rearward billet deflector to adjust a discharge direction of the billets.
MULTICROP HARVESTING
Compound headers and combine harvesters that include compound headers are disclosed. The compound headers may include two or more crop harvester types that are operable to harvest different crops simultaneously, such as different crops grown in the same field in an intercropped relationship. The simultaneously harvested crops may be separated into individual crop flows that are handled separately from each other.
ELEVATOR ASSEMBLY FOR AN AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER WITH A STORAGE HOPPER HAVING A CONVEYOR THEREIN
An elevator assembly for a harvester may include an elevator housing and an elevator extending within the elevator housing between a proximal end and a distal end. As such, the elevator may be configured to carry harvested crops between its proximal and distal ends. Furthermore, the elevator assembly may include a storage hopper extending from the elevator housing at a location adjacent to the distal end of the elevator. The storage hopper may include a conveyor extending within the storage hopper between a first end and a second end, with the conveyor configured to carry the harvested crops between its first and second ends towards a discharge opening of the storage hopper.
Combine and Harvester
A lid is supported so as to be open and close by swinging upward and downward about a swing axis that is not parallel with the screw axis of a bottom screw.
Dynamically augmented bird's-eye view
In accordance with an example embodiment, a vehicle includes a moveable member, posture sensing system, bird's-eye camera system, display, and controller. The posture sensing system indicates the moveable member's posture. The bird's-eye camera system provides images of its field of view, including the ground adjacent to the vehicle. The controller receives a posture signal from the posture sensing system, receives images from the camera system, creates a rendered vehicle representation, creates a rendered path projection, and generates a dynamically augmented bird's-eye view then displays it on the display. The moveable member is positioned in the rendered vehicle representation using the posture signal. The rendered path projection includes an outer envelope line projecting the path of an outermost point of the vehicle, determined using the posture signal. The dynamically augmented bird's-eye view is generated using the images, rendered vehicle representation, and rendered path projection.
CONVERTIBLE DUAL-SIDED AUGER SYSTEM FOR A FARM IMPLEMENT
A farm implement includes a frame, a container mounted on the frame, an intake housing rotatably connected to a front wall of the container proximate to a discharge opening, a first auger assembly, and a second auger assembly. The first auger assembly is disposed in the container and conveys agricultural material through the discharge opening. The second auger assembly is rotatably connected to an outlet of the intake housing and includes an inlet that receives agricultural material from the intake housing and an outlet that discharges agricultural material. The farm implement further includes a first mounting assembly and a second mounting assembly disposed along the front wall. The second auger assembly is mounted on one of the first and second mounting assemblies at an operating position, without being mounted to the other one of the first and second mounting assemblies.
Combine Harvester
A combine harvester is provided with: a threshing device that performs a threshing process of threshing a crop; a grain tank that stores grain obtained by the threshing process; a grain discharging device that discharges grain to be stored in the grain tank to the outside of the vehicle body; a travel driving device that drives travel of the vehicle body; and an engine that serves as a power source. The combine harvester includes a first relay shaft to which power is transmitted from an output shaft of the engine, and the power of the engine is transmitted from the first relay shaft to the grain discharging device and the travel driving device in a branched manner.
