Exhaust gas recirculation valve actuator device in an internal combustion engine, comprising an actuator body housing where the stem of an exhaust gas recirculation valve, extends along an axial direction. A motor acts to move the recirculation valve along the axial direction X-X, to pass from an open configuration to a closed configuration. A transmission is interposed between the motor and the exhaust gas recirculation valve. The device also includes support and guide mechanism and a sealing mechanism, in correspondence of a connection interface of the actuator body with an associable valve body, which houses an exhaust gas passage duct, wherein the actuator body is mechanically separable/connectable from/to said associable valve body.

A valve comprises a coupling device having a driven member bound to the drive shaft of a flap, a driving member bound to an output shaft of an actuator, and an elastic member. The driving member comprises attachments that hooks up the elastic member to the driving member in a temporary position in which the elastic member is elastically loaded. The driven member comprises at least one release member that at least partly releases the elastic member of the attachments when the coupling device is brought to an intermediate state or the elastic member, when the coupling device is in the intermediate state, may be at least partly released from the attachments. The elastic member once released, adopts a definitive use position under the effect of relaxation of the elastic load, the coupling device then adopting the operational state.

SEALING SYSTEM AND EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION VALVE

A sealing system for an exhaust gas recirculation valve, the exhaust gas recirculation valve including a housing and a valve stem disposed in the housing, the sealing system being disposed between the housing and the valve stem in order to prevent exhaust gas from entering a valve body interior. The sealing system includes at least two sealing assemblies. An exhaust gas recirculation valve includes the sealing system, and the sealing system effectively prevents exhaust gas from leaking into the valve body interior, and effectively prevents carbon deposits from sticking to the valve stem or entering the valve body interior, so as to increase the lifespan and reliability of the exhaust gas recirculation valve.

In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a turbocharger includes a compressor having a compressor wheel, a turbine provided within a housing, and an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) flow path. The EGR flow path includes a first fluid connection in the housing and located in proximity to the turbine, a second fluid connection located in proximity to a trailing edge of the compressor wheel, an EGR control valve disposed between the first fluid connection and the second fluid connection, the EGR control valve configured to selectively operate the turbocharger in a low-heat mode having an EGR up to 50% and an operational mode having an EGR rate typically less than 35%.

In order to create a valve device that can be used as an EGR check valve in which a pressure loss relative to known designs is reduced even with small valve geometries, it is proposed for the valve device to comprise a valve body that is embodied as a separate part that is mushroom-shaped or umbrella-shaped and is axially guided in a supporting plate in a region through which the gas flows axial, rests with its umbrella against the supporting plate in a way that seals the region through which the gas flows in a closed position, and has an end stop for an open position.
