A system for recirculating blow-by gases into an air intake duct of an internal combustion engine, includes a separating device to separate oil, in a flow of blow-by gases of the engine. The separator device has an inlet for receiving blow-by gases, at least one discharge for returning the oil separated to the engine, and an outlet for clean blow-by gases. A recirculation duct connects the outlet to an air intake duct of the engine. The recirculation duct has an end connected to the intake duct by a T-connector member, with a main duct portion arranged along the intake duct and a tubular element protruding inside the main duct portion. The tubular element protruding inside the main duct portion has an annular end surface that has an irregular profile, preferably in the form of a saw-like toothed profile.

Intake manifold plenum and runner with condensate drains

An intake manifold of an automobile vehicle includes a manifold body connected to a cylinder head. A runner is in communication with the cylinder head. A plenum is in communication with the runner. An inner dividing wall is positioned between and partially separates the runner and the plenum while allowing communication between the plenum and the runner over a dividing wall end of the inner dividing wall. An orifice opening extends through the inner dividing wall providing a drain path from the plenum to the runner. The orifice drains a fluid collecting in the plenum to the runner.

Intake and exhaust system for preventing the generation of condensed water and operating methods thereof

An intake and exhaust system for preventing generation of condensed water may include: an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system circulating some of combustion gas from an exhaust pipe to an intake pipe; an active purging system compressing and supplying evaporation gas generated from a fuel tank to the intake pipe; and a controller to control the EGR system and the active purging system. In particular, the controller calculates a saturated water vapor pressure based on temperature at a position between the EGR system and the intake pipe, and calculates a saturated water vapor pressure based on temperature of the intake pipe and then compares one of the two saturated water vapor pressures with a water vapor pressure of intake air so as to reduce an EGR rate of the EGR system or a purging rate of the active purging system based on the comparison result.

Air filter element assembly for a motor vehicle

A filter element assembly includes a filter body and an auxiliary filter. The filter body includes a sidewall around a hollow core. Further the filter body and auxiliary filter are both received and held on a support including a base and a cage.

CRAWLED VEHICLE FOR THE PREPARATION OF SKI PISTES

A crawled vehicle comprising: an internal combustion engine; an engine compartment wherein the internal combustion engine is housed; an air inlet opening to catch air from the outside of the crawled vehicle; a first channel, for cold air, connected and fed by the air inlet opening with air coming from outside the crawled vehicle; a second channel to be fed with hot air coming from the internal combustion engine; a third channel for air, coupled to the internal combustion engine to feed the internal combustion engine with air; an air filter arranged along the third channel and upstream of the internal combustion engine; a connection element connected to the first channel, to the second channel and third channel; and an air adjusting device to adjust the air temperature in the third channel and comprising a shutter coupled to the first channel and/or to the second channel and/or to the connection element; and a control device controlling a position of the shutter to adjust the temperature of the air entering the third channel.

In an intake manifold, a downstream end of an intake introduction pipe has an intake chamber connected thereto, and a resonator is provided adjacent to a bent section of the intake introduction pipe. A resonance chamber of this resonator communicates with the intake chamber via a path-for-resonance. A bottom section of the resonance chamber representing a downward side in a gravity direction inclines downwardly toward a center in a width direction, and a communicating path is formed to communicate with the bent section of the intake introduction pipe. Condensed water accumulated in the resonator flows to the intake introduction pipe through the communicating path from the bottom section, and flows into a projection projecting downwardly from the bent section. Subsequently, the condensed water is discharged to an internal combustion engine side through a gas introduction pipe by which a blow-by gas is introduced.

Air intake duct

A vertically extending air intake duct on a rear of a cab in a delivery vehicle to take in ambient air for an engine through an air intake has a duct body as an outer shell with the air intake on an upper portion; a side branch section on a lower portion of the body and having upper and lower ends opened in the body and outside, respectively; a mesh member extending over the air intake to collect rainwater; a louver for covering the mesh member and the air intake to prevent intrusion of matter other than ambient air; and a drip channel or bead on an inner wall of the duct body and just below the mesh member to capture and guide rainwater flowing down on the inner wall to the upper end of the side branch section.
