A hood is configured to be mounted to the opening, wherein the hood is sized to seal the opening. The hood is configured to uncover the opening and comprises a decorative ornamentation and is replaceable and interchangeable. The base structure and the hood are configured to seal the air intake box when the cover is installed on the housing.

Intake manifold-cylinder head connectors and methods of assembling the same are disclosed. A distal jumper tube includes a distal jumper tube conduit with an upstream end having a first exterior engagement feature and a downstream end. A proximal jumper tube includes a proximal jumper tube conduit with an upstream end and a downstream end having a second exterior engagement feature. A middle jumper tube includes a middle jumper tube conduit with an upstream end having a third exterior engagement feature, and a downstream end having a fourth engagement feature. The first exterior engagement feature is removably coupled to the fourth exterior engagement feature, and the second exterior engagement feature is removably engaged to the third exterior engagement feature. The proximal jumper tube is in fluid receiving communication with an intake manifold conduit, and the distal jumper tube is in fluid providing communication with a cylinder head aperture.

A control device for an internal combustion engine includes an intake channel, an exhaust gas recirculation channel which enters into the intake channel, a control element, a mixing housing which forms the intake channel, a connection element, a compressor, and a shaft. The mixing housing has a mouth of the exhaust gas recirculation channel in a lower area, an outlet, a mixing housing section, and a bowl-shaped recess. The cross-sectional extension is formed via the mixing housing to provide an axial stop face. The connection element abuts against the axial stop face and is radially limited by an axially opposite inner wall surface on the stop face. The mixing housing section has a recess arranged at the lowest point of the mixing housing section and below the axially opposite inner wall surface. The recess enters into the bowl-shaped recess of the mixing housing.

AIR INTAKE STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE

A vehicle includes an engine, an engine cover, and a cross component. The engine cover has a through-hole through which the cross component passes. The cross component is a flexible hose or a flexible pipe in which a body part extending in a cross direction is integrated with a diameter enlarged part having a diameter larger than the body part. The outer peripheral part of the diameter enlarged part makes close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole of the engine cover.

The housing body has a wall located upstream of the filter element in an air flow direction and a recess, which is an inwardly recessed part of the wall. The fiber molding assembly is fixed to the wall, covers the recess from outside, and forms a part of a side wall of an inlet passage together with the recess. A communication hole for communication between the inlet passage and an interior of the housing body is formed in the recess.

A second downstream part of the intake manifold has a second downstream passage configured to communicate with an intake port of a second cylinder head. An upstream part is coupled to the first downstream part and the second downstream part. The upstream part is arranged upstream from the first and second downstream parts in the flow direction of intake air and has a first upstream passage and a second upstream passage. The material of the first downstream part and the material of the second downstream part both have higher rigidity than the material of the upstream part.
