FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE
A fuel supply device includes a sub-tank, a pump unit, a jet pump, and a connection structure connected with the pump unit and the jet pump. The connection structure has a guide part that is provided to the pump unit and guides the pressurized fuel toward the bottom in an axial direction, a pressurizing part that is provided to the jet pump and is fitted to the guide part from a side of the bottom in an axially slidable manner, to which the pressurized fuel is guided from the guide part, a shock-absorbing member that has a low spring constant that is predetermined and mitigates an axial impact between the guide part and the pressurizing part, and a sealing member that has a high spring constant higher than the low spring constant of the shock-absorbing member and radially seals a space between the guide part and the pressurizing part.
FUEL SUPPLY DEVICES
A fuel supply device includes a fuel pump for delivering fuel within the fuel tank to the outside and a sub-tank having a temporary storage region capable of temporarily storing the fuel. The sub-tank includes an inflow opening to allow the fuel to flow into the sub-tank under its own weight. The temporary storage region includes a top part positioned above the inflow opening.

Fuel supply device
The fuel supply device has a module installed in a fuel tank. The module has a cap and a support pillar arranged between the cap and a bottom of the fuel tank. The cap is supporting a valve relevant to ventilation of the fuel tank. The valve is supported by a base portion. The base portion and a large diameter part are connected by snap-fit mechanisms. The valve and the base portion are connected by snap-fit mechanisms. A hook part is arranged in an engaging window. It is possible to inspect the valve through the engaging window.
Fuel-supply assembly for internal combustion engine and method for assembling the same
A universal fuel-supply assembly is adaptable during manufacturing to be made for use with one of multiple different fuel types (e.g., gasoline or diesel fuel). A method for assembling a fuel-supply assembly includes providing a plate structure configured to be secured to a fuel tank. The plate structure has multiple bosses. According to one example, the method determines whether the fuel-supply assembly is for use as a diesel fuel-supply assembly or as a gasoline fuel-supply assembly. The method provides an opening through one of two different bosses that communicates with both the top side and the bottom side of the plate structure depending on whether the fuel-supply assembly is for use as a diesel fuel-supply assembly or a gasoline fuel-supply assembly.
FUEL FILTER DEVICE
A fuel filter device includes a bag-shaped filter member filtering fuel that is drawn into a fuel pump, an inner frame member retaining the filter member in an expanded state, and a mounting member connected to the inner frame member and serving to communicate an internal space of the filter member with an outside. A valve chamber is defined by the inner frame member and the mounting member, and a check valve serving to prevent backflow of fuel is disposed in the valve chamber. The check valve includes a flat-plate shaped valve body having elasticity. The check valve opens against its weight when the fuel pump is operated, and the check valve closes due to its weight when the operation of the fuel pump is stopped.
COMPONENT MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR FUEL TANK
To provide a component mounting structure for a fuel tank capable of suppressing an increase in the weight of the tank body and reducing the weight and thickness of the fuel tank component, the component mounting structure includes: a tank body (2) provided with an oblong opening (2a); a pump module (3) serving as a tank component mounted to the tank body (2); a flange (5) that is provided to the pump module (3) so as to project out from an outer surface of the pump module (3), has an oblong contour larger than the opening (2a) and having a minor dimension (W2) smaller than a major dimension (L1) of the opening (2a), and is placed inside the tank body (2) through the opening (2a) with an edge thereof opposing the tank body (2) over an entire circumference; a sealing member (7) placed between the tank body (2) and the flange (5); and a fastening member (8b•9, 11•12) that holds the pump module (3) to the tank body (2) while compressing the sealing member (7) via the flange (5).
FUEL PUMP MODULE FOR IMPROVING RADIANT HEAT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Provided are a fuel pump module for improving radiant heat and a method for manufacturing the same, in which when heat generating components included in the fuel pump module are fixed by a potting process of injecting a liquefied resin, a guide is installed first, the liquefied resin is injected, and a heat radiating plate is inserted into the guide to increase a size of the heat radiating plate, thereby increasing heat radiating capability.
FUEL SUPPLY DEVICES
A fuel supply device includes a cover member which is attached to an opening of a fuel tank, a pump unit comprising a pump, and a connecting portion for connecting the cover member and the pump unit. The pump unit is connected to the connecting portion so as to be relatively movable to the cover member. When the fuel supply device is attached to the fuel tank, an engagement portion provided at a lower portion of the pump unit abuts the connecting portion such that via the engagement portion the connecting portion presses the pump unit against the fuel tank.
