High speed valve
Valve including a valve body having a drain hole, a valve seat including an outlet union from which fluid flows out of the valve, a cup coupled to the valve body and biased against the valve seat, an input union, and a control valve arranged partly inside the valve seat. The control valve defines a compartment and includes an actuator, a permanent magnet and first and second electromagnets. The actuator includes a slide arranged in the compartment and that closes the drain hole when in a first position and is spaced apart from the drain hole when in a second position, and an armature. Providing current to the first electromagnet causes the slide to move to the second position separated from the drain hole and causes movement of the cup apart from the valve seat and thus flow of fluid from the input union to the outlet union.
DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL SUPPLY PUMP, AND HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL SUPPLY PUMP
To reduce collision noise caused when an electromagnetic valve of a high-pressure fuel supply pump is opened. Therefore, in a control device for controlling a high-pressure fuel supply pump including: an anchor; a fixed core configured to attract the anchor with an electromagnetic force; a suction valve configured to be opened or closed when the anchor is sucked by the fixed core; and an electromagnetic force generation unit configured to generate the electromagnetic force when applied with a driving voltage, it can be achieved by providing a control unit configured to perform control to lower a driving current from a peak current before a timing at which the anchor is sucked by the fixed core and collides in an operation state where an engine is under no load and an engine rotation speed is equal to or less than a set rotation speed.
FUEL PUMP FOR GASOLINE DIRECT INJECTION
A fuel pump includes a fuel pump housing made of stainless steel and having a pumping chamber therewithin, a plunger bore extending thereinto, an inlet passage extending thereinto, and an outlet passage extending thereinto. A pumping plunger reciprocates within the plunger bore such that an intake stroke of the pumping plunger increases volume of the pumping chamber and a compression stroke of the pumping plunger decreases volume of the pumping chamber. An outlet valve controls fuel flow from the pumping chamber out of the fuel pump housing. The outlet valve includes an outlet valve seating surface formed by the fuel pump housing within the outlet passage such that a nitrided layer extends from the outlet valve seating surface into the fuel pump housing. The outlet valve also includes an outlet valve member within the outlet passage which is moveable between a seated position and an unseated position.
High-pressure fuel supply pump having electromagnetically-driven intake valve
A fuel pump includes an intake valve unit which is provided between a low-pressure chamber and a pressurizing chamber. The intake valve unit includes an intake valve configured to move in an axial direction of the intake valve unit and a valve stopper arranged between the intake valve and the pressurizing chamber. A plurality of fuel passages configured to allow fuel to communicate between the low-pressure chamber and the pressurizing chamber are formed on a radially outward of an outer peripheral surface of the valve stopper.
FUEL PUMP AND INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY THEREOF
A fuel pump includes a fuel pump housing with a pumping chamber and an inlet valve bore which extends along an inlet valve bore axis. The inlet valve bore is stepped such that the inlet valve bore includes a shoulder which is traverse to the inlet valve bore axis. A pumping plunger reciprocates within a plunger bore along a plunger bore axis such that an intake stroke of the pumping plunger increases volume of the pumping chamber and a compression stroke of the pumping plunger decreases volume of the pumping chamber. An inlet valve assembly includes a valve seat with a valve seat flow passage extending therethrough, the valve seat abuts the shoulder and is urged toward the shoulder by pressure within the pumping chamber during the compression stroke. The inlet valve assembly also includes a valve member which is moveable between an unseated position and a seated position.
Flow rate control valve and high-pressure fuel supply pump
Responsiveness of an electromagnetic flow-rate control valve provided for closing a suction valve is improved and a discharge flow rate is controlled to a desired value. A flow-rate control valve includes a fixed core arranged on an inner circumferential side of a coil, a yoke arranged on an outer circumferential side of the coil, and a cover portion opposed to the coil in an axial direction, in which the fixed core has an enlarged portion in contact with the cover portion in the axial direction and enlarging toward the coil, and the cover portion is regulated in the axial direction only by a contact portion with the fixed core.
Fuel injection control device
A fuel injection control device has a conduction time calculation unit, a setting unit, a conduction control unit, a detection unit, an estimation unit, and a changing unit. The conduction time calculation unit calculates a conduction time of an electric actuator corresponding to a requested injection quantity during partial lift injection. The setting unit sets a command conduction time. The conduction control unit energizes an electric actuator on the basis of a command conduction time set by the setting unit. The detection unit detects a physical quantity having a correlation with an actual injection quantity during partial lift injection. The estimation unit estimates an actual injection quantity on the basis of a detection result of the detection unit. The changing unit changes a lower limit time on the basis of a deviation between an estimated actual injection quantity and a requested injection quantity.
High-pressure fuel supply pump
A high-pressure fuel supply pump comprising a suction valve disposed on a suction side of a pressurizing chamber, an engagement member having a protrusion part that protrudes toward the outer periphery and biasing the suction valve by use of the force of a spring, a stator for generating a magnetic attraction force, and a plunger drawn by the magnetic attraction force and driving the engagement member toward the stator by engaging with the protrusion part, the fuel supply pump being configured so that the area of the fuel passage is smallest between the outer periphery of the protrusion part and the inner periphery of the plunger, and so that a tapered section whereby the area of the flow path increases from the portion where the area of the passage is smallest toward the pressurizing chamber or toward the suction valve side is formed.
High pressure fuel pump control for idle tick reduction
A method for operating a solenoid valve coupled to the inlet valve of a fuel injection pump comprises adjusting a pull-in electrical energy of the solenoid valve based on a fuel injection pump volumetric efficiency.
High-pressure fuel supply pump including an electromagnetically driven intake valve
A high-pressure fuel supply pump including an electromagnetically driven intake valve is configured such that a pressure equalizing hole is provided in the valve stopper positioned between the valve and a pressurizing chamber. The pressure equalization hole connects a spring storage space, provided between a valve and a valve stopper, with a surrounding fluid passage. The high-pressure fuel supply pump is further configured such that an opening of the pressure equalizing hole at the spring storage chamber side is open at a position at the inner side of a diameter of the spring. Since the pressure in the pressurizing chamber can be introduced into the inner side of the spring without traversing the spring, the unstable behavior of the spring or the valve due to the introduced pressure eliminated. Since the force applied to the valve when the valve closes is stabilized, the closing timing of the valve is stable.
