Accumulating system for high capacity baler

A baling system comprising a first bale-forming area configured to form a first series of first individual bales, and a second bale forming-area configured to from a second series of second individual bales. The baling system additionally comprises a bale accumulator configured to receive the first and second individual bales from said first and second bale-forming areas and to manipulate the first and second individual bales into a group of four or more bales.

ROUND BALER WITH POSITION CONTROLLED TAKE-UP ROLLER, AND METHOD OF OPERATING A ROUND BALER
20220015301 · 2022-01-20 ·

A round includes a housing and a gate rotatably attached to the housing for rotation about a gate rotation axis, and a forming belt that defines a variable sized baling chamber. A take-up roller supports the forming belt. A first actuator is coupled to the take-up roller and is operable to automatically apply a first bias force to the take-up roller to urge the take-up roller into a slack take-up position to reduce slack in the forming belt as the gate moves relative to the housing. A second actuator is coupled to the take-up roller for applying a second bias force to the take-up roller, in opposition to the first bias force, to restrict movement of the take-up roller into the slack take-up position to introduce slack into the forming belt when the gate is opened to an intermediate position.

ROUND BALER WITH BALE HOLDER IN GATE
20220015300 · 2022-01-20 ·

A round baler includes a housing, and a gate rotatably attached to the housing. A bale holder is attached to and moveable with the gate. The bale holder includes a retractable member that is moveable between an engaged position operable to grasp a bale and move the bale with the gate, and a disengaged position operable to release the bale. The retractable member is positioned to grasp an end face of the bale at a contact location. The contact location is disposed rearward of a vertical reference plane passing through a centerline of the bale when the bale is within an interior region of the round baler and the gate is in the closed position. The contact location may be disposed below a horizontal plane passing through the centerline of the bale when the bale is within the interior region and the gate is in the closed position.

Singulating system for high capacity baler

A square baler comprising a first bale-forming area in which are formed a first series of first individual bales, and a second bale-forming area in which are formed a second series of second individual bales. The square baler additionally comprises a singulator configured to receive the first and second individual bales from the first and second bale-forming areas and to form a single row of the first and second individual bales.

Round baler with bale holder in gate

Rotor for a high capacity baler

A square baler including a pickup mechanism configured to pick up crop material from a single windrow on the ground, and a rotor configured to receive crop material picked up by the pickup mechanism. The rotor includes a first toothed section, a second toothed section, and an interior auger flighted section located between the first toothed section and the section toothed section. The rotor is configured to separate crop material into two streams of crop material.

Baler with multiple plungers

A square baler comprising a gear box configured to receive power from a rotating power source. The baler additionally comprises first and second drive shaft sections extending outwardly from generally opposite sides of the gear box. The gear box is configured to rotate said first and second drive shaft sections using power from the rotating power source. The baler further comprises first and second reciprocating plungers respectively coupled to the first and second drive shaft sections in a manner such that rotation of the first drive shaft section causes reciprocation of the first plunger and rotation of the second drive shaft section causes reciprocation of the second plunger.

High capacity baler with multiple knotters

A high capacity square baler comprising a pickup mechanism configured to pick up a single windrow of crop material off the ground. The baler additionally comprising one or more stuffer chutes each configured to receive at least a portion of the crop material picked up by the pickup mechanism. The baler additionally comprising one or more stuffer assemblies each configured to push crop material generally upward through one or more of the stuffer chutes. The baler additionally comprising a plurality of bale-forming chambers each configured to receive crop material from one or more of the stuffer chutes. The baler further comprising a plurality of knotter assemblies each associated with one of the bales forming chambers and each configured to wrap and tie securement lines around each formed bale. The knotter assemblies are configured to operate independently of one another, such that formed bales can be tied at different times.

Bale weight measurement device

A baler for forming a bale includes a frame, an axle, and a sensor. The frame supports a bale chamber. The axle is connected to the frame at a first location and spaced apart from the frame at a second location. The sensor is positioned to measure the deflection of the axle based on a distance. The deflection of the axle changes based upon a weight of the bale.
